What do people do that 'wastes' money that really drives you mad? I have a friend who cooked for me the other night. She bought chopped tomatoes, name brand with added mixed herbs! Now, she isn't in any debt, nor is she particularly hard up as she still lives at home BUT she spent about 65p on these tomatoes! I asked her…

This thread is making me smile - especially the supermarket/charity shop snobs - now, I either have really nice down-to-earth friends or I'm just completely oblivious to their sneers, but I'd much rather tell people about what a good saving I'd made than about how much it cost if it was expensive. Anyone can pay over-the-odds for anything, to find a bargain takes skill and commitment!
