  • Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the forum and have been spending time reading through various threads. I was really pleased to come across this one and find that so many other people enjoy cross stitch as much as I do.
I have been cross stitching for some years now and tend to go for quite big complex designs that take ages to do.
Below is the the last one I've completed, it took nearly 4 years:eek: Mind you some of that time was spent rolled up in the wardrobe when I got cheesed off with it:D
I don't usually get that fed up but this was so difficult I didn't think I would ever finish it.

Wow P. That Puma is brilliant. I love some of the chaps designs. Do you think he needs a licence to reproduce them... and am I likely to get any grief if I buy them from him if he should have but hasn't?

Ok, that makes sense to me, hopefully you will understand what I mean.

Trudy, that peacock is amazing. Not surprised it took you so long but it was really worth all the hard work, well done.

I hadn't thought of that. I'd just buy it and hope for the best. Still haven't decided whether to get it as yet as I have a 110 Landrover to do for him also and then a couple I would like to do for myself.

    What is a popcorn calendar?[/quote]

Sorry it has taken so long to reply. Popcorn is a bear and the calendar is all the months of the year and each one has a scene typical for that month so february has the bear with heart balloons. It is nearly finished so will post a pic when it is done. xx

Hi all, what beautiful photos, so much hard work.

    That peacock was stunning.

I'm currently scaling down all my projects, trying not to start anything new.

UFO - large linen Victorian Lady and Gent sampler
    WIP - cottage - card

Lots of embroidery UFO's and Wips that are on the back burner too.
