Summer '69 - not a Bryan Adams fan by any chance - loved that song!
Glad to hear you've taken the tablets. My Dr said she'd\like me to take them for 5-6 months and I'm happy to do as I'm told. I took one about an hour and half ago and I can tell my fingers and brain are sluggish typing this.
See you in the morning - tomorrow's another day!

Thanks everyone.
Aaaargh, Estate Agents! They have been blo*dy useless since putting our place on the market. Silly simple things they don't do and say they are! I got him to re-take the photos about 10 days ago and he still hasn't updated them on Rightmove, he's forgotten to put the floorplan on there and I have told him about this twice. I know that sounds a bit petty but we are paying good money for a service! I think our 12 week thingy might be up with them, might have to give him some cr*p down the phone and threaten to go if they don't pull their socks up. I'm feeling stronger at the mo.I could really do without selling, on top of everything else but its got to go! They say what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger don't they! :rotfl:

Oooh, I changed my landline yesterday, he said it takes 24 hours but my sis rang me up last night, then got me on my mobile...said the phone was dead...I haven't told her about BR yet........oooops.... - told her the phone must be playing up, I'm such a coward.
She knows our financial situation is bad but not how much.:o..so will tell her about the BR after we have seen the Debt Specialist, I don't like keeping secrets. She knows about my prescription from the doctors. Have to keep her at bay about the phone for a little while, will tell we changed it cos of too many cold callers. Well that is true and we would have been getting plenty more unwanted calls soon!

I have neck strain from being on the phone all afternoon. Ringing up all the companies that I will still be paying DDs to, wanting to change the bank account details to OH's bank account for a month's time. Why are they all different! Couple would do it now, majority won't do it until a day after beginning of June's payment comes out, some will take OH's bank account details down, others need to speak to him directly on the phone.
Blooming Southern Water! Apparently, they have not taken any payments out of my account since January, they don't know why, says it just happens sometimes for no reason........I didn't realise....as I don't check my statement every month..:o.but that will change from now on, the new me!! So they are increasing my monthly payment to double until it clears! Great.
Its been nice having a quiet phone today, with the new number, we get quite a fair few cold callers anyway, I texted my friends with the new number, its a nice feeling actually having a new number.
I have lists coming out of my ar&e for different things, but I will get there."Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, except backwards and in high heels"

Funny you should say that .. I had a DD set up with southern water, had the confirmation and everything.. just realised they never took the money and stupid me assumed they had so have been spending as if its come out.
Will now have to sort out paying the arrears !:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0 -

Just completely highlighted how I didn't take any notice of what came out every month. My sis always told me she would go through her bank statement carefully every month, as she said companies could take things out twice or not take them out at all! I used to say 'yeah...you're right...' and then not bother.:D

Know exactly what you mean
I've even got myself a spreadsheet showing everything coming in and going out ... only problem is that I Know everything goes out within 3 days of payday so after that I can relax .. after this water problem i'm gonna have to pay a bit more attention to it:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0 -
Hi everyone. Thought I would have a little break from it all, but I am now back and raring to go...well sort of. :rotfl: This is the week when my creditors' DDs won't come out, for the first time ever! I am really nervous about it. We have changed our number but am dreading letters. Anyhoo, we have the Debt Specialist appointment on 10 June, so shall get filling in the BR forms before then, and get him/her to make sure I have done them correctly. I will also ask on here if I get stuck, which is highly likely.
Also this week, need to get all the other DDs which are still coming out, changed over to come out of OH's Bank Account for next month, OH needs to speak to them as well so will try and get him to sit down and do that with me, easier said than done. He has the attention span of a gnat.
Still no viewings on the flat, but we have already dropped it £10k, so just going to leave it as it is at the mo, OR will see I am selling it, and that's all I can do at the moment.Still having anxiety attacks but am hoping they will subside somewhat after we have seen the Debt Specialist and got my appointment at the Courts. Not looking forward to that obviously, but it has to be done, I want us to have a fresh start and be able to sleep at night. I did have a good cry last night, I had recorded Britain's Got Talent and my favourite one won and I sobbed, probably a combination of the programme and how I was feeling.
:rotfl:
Hope everyone is ok. xx"Ginger Rogers did everything Fred Astaire did, except backwards and in high heels"

Summer wait till you see a lassie film:D .
All joking apart you will have many more days like this. I had days where one minute i was decisive and strong to the next weak, not sure if i was doing the right thing,to yet another range of emotions which included not wanting to do IT, trying to think of a way out. Crying at the drop of a hat was another major feature. You will get through it by taking one day at a time and by believing that these emotions are a normal part of bc/debt/and the road to freedom.
Take care and stay strong it will soon be in the past.DFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau
