I buy tesco's value tinned stuff all the time, beans, red kidney beans, tomatos, sweetcorn, spaghetti etc.Quality is fine but it is a heck of a job finding what I want in the pantry,as all the tins look the same!
  • That's mostly the reason why I keep going back to Lidl. I was forever losing tinms or opening the wrong thing!

Aldi chocolate nougat spread - heavenly! Much less 'oily' than the chocolate and hazelnut offerings from any supermarket!
Actually it's Lidl's, not Aldi's, I always get the two mixed up, but it explains why I couldn't find it last time I went to Aldi, I was worried they'd discontinued it ...

  • tescos value anti perspirant is surprisingly good!
  • Most stuff I buy is Lidl, or ASDA/Tesco cheapest....except teabags and coffee - do like a decent cuppa!

O/H loves Heinz Beans (yes, he can tell the difference - I've tried all brands!), but we only buy them when we can get 4 tins for £1 or under, and I hide them in the back of the cupboard so his kids won't find them when they come round!

I buy Sainsburys Value tissues 32p, wrapping foil (but I use it for everything not just wrapping) 24p, and today I got a pack of 10 J-cloth type cloths for 38p (was looking for an old fashioned floorcloth but they don't seem to do those). At under 4p each we can use one on the floor then sling it. I don't like their value aerosol deodorant, it stinks worse than BO!

I bought a pair of Tesco Value denims for £3 at the weekend - far too long, but apart from that and the low slung waist, they look like a real bargain.
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

morrisons do v good cheap apple juice.
actually i prefer morrisons to all the others, value and good stuff.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.
