it is and I wasn't for a minute suggesting you should buy similar Luc - just saying that I did and used it for eight months tops! I was thinking that I'd use it for four years and get value for money but you live and learn.:o

    Morning.

Thanks guys. We're hoping to stick to around £300 as we'll probably have to top up anything over that.

Plan is to go to pram shop on Saturday morning and to Mothercare to take advantage of the £30 off the Britax car seat that is supposed to go from birth to 4yo. Will be using vouchers Hubbles got from work that we've had for ages as we couldn't decide what best to use them on.

First day of revision today. Gulp

We have looked in JL but not much of a selection. We want to go to the pram centre as we hope there's more choice on display to have a pull and a poke at IYSWIM. We were at the Pailsey Pram shop too and they had a good choice.

Now we've decided to go with the adapting car seat I think we'll be a bit more focussed as before we really were going round in circles. :p

Going to phone my Dad tonight to talk it through a bit without putting up with Mum's lectures and to let them know what we're planning re the car seat.

On the money front, I'll be reviewing bank accounts/debt levels next week and will update siggy then.

Think I'm on track for a decent GC result even with the cat added this month which is great.

Hubbles has been promoted and got a nice chunky payrise to boot:j :j :j

We will now be bringing home in excess of £4k between us which is just amazing to me when I consider just 5 years ago we barely cleared £1,500 between us. I suppose the hard work on the exams etc is really starting to pay off now. Hopefully we'll soon pay off the debts racked up while we were at uni/starting out and be able to move onwards and upwards:j

I need to do a new personal SOA too as my income has gone up in the last month and I want to reassess where I'm going in the remaining few months before maternity pay kicks in.

Thanks - I'm so chuffed for him. He totally deserves it!

We chose this pram but didn't buy it yet. Will wait until November as new colours arre coming out Dec/Jan so we might get a bargain as retailers try to sell off old colours

Not that I am dissing your choice hun BUT...I always prefer a pram where baby faces you....better for you and better for baby.
They can watch you and you can talk to them.

Unlessof course it is reversible in which case tell me to shut up!

The carry cot will face me. The forward facing seat was a necessary sacrifice to get a push chair that I can run off road with and is light enough for me to get on and off trains and up and down 3 floors of flats!
