Casper doing really well. He was a bit spooked on Saturday when we got home and spent a lot of time scuttling from one hiding place to another as he explored his new patch:p and miaowed a lot in the night By Sunday afternoon he was at home enough to flake out on the rug in the middle of the floor for a couple of hours! And apart froma couple of miaows when we first went to bed he settled down no problem and was in 'his' spot when we got up this morning (he's adopted the end of the couch nearest TV as his place on the sofa so he can watch the cricket:p ).

We know about the litter tray - the faeces carry toxoplasmosis which can affect the baby as well as me. Hubbles is official litter tray tender! (He gets all the good jobs:p )

going to do pet insurance at lunchtime and will see how quickly it all tracks.

CAFCgirl, I'm 16+5 today but never had any morning sickness at all (sorry!), just a bit of queasiness when travelling and even that seems to have gone. I was horrendously tired all the time but that seems to have passed now too, though I do get the odd day when I'm shattered. baby brain has kicked in though and I'm finding it really hard to retain/recall things which isn't great with exams approaching!

Maybe for your exams you could put in for special consideration.
when i was at school someone did that, their family dog died after like 17 years the day before her exam, she put in for special consideration, got extra time and a buffer of marks!

List pregnancy brain and im sure they'll understand, especially if you get a woman marking your paper!
Luckily this week my sickness has disappeared, so im feeding myself up while the going is good LOL.

Glad Casper has settled in well.... i'd love a cat but hubby hates them, so we're looking at getting a dog when we move and can cope with the baby, so a little while yet.
    Hope you're well xx

Glad the kitten has settled in. Just found another 'spot' where mine has been going. Getting a bit fed up as I feel like the whole house smells like a cat latrine.

We've had no accidents so far. Aunt J has done a really good job of litter training him which is a huge help. Biggest problem is getting his food timings right. Too early and he demands more at the usual time regardless of how much he's had 10 minutes ago and too late and he miaows the place down and goes in a huff:rotfl:

You are so lucky. I never catch the little sod doing it, seem to find damp patches!! Going to get him a catheter if he isn't careful.
