Slim Shot - i am happily surprised!! Weight Loss

i have just started taking Slim Shot (superdrug and others around £12 for a 2 week supply) it was cheap(ish) and i thought i would give it a go.
For the first time i can remember i am not hungry or wanting to snack at all. it took a few days to kick in, but the you basically make a drink by dropping a fizzy tablet into some water, and then drink either during or before a meal.
I (thought i was) always eating, but my appetite is really gone... I would totally reccommend this product (i am eating differently - with more veggies etc... but am actually leaving food on my plate (which NEVER used to happen) I've lost a small amount of weight, but this week should really make a dfference
yesterday - i ate
one breakfast bar, one salad, some crudites, soup made with courgettes & carrots and a small bread roll... i was not starving myself, i actually didnt want any more....
I have nothing to do with company at all, and nothing at all to gain by posting this. I dont work for them (i am in Data Analysis in Insurance)
This is from their own website
"The new unique effervescent slimming drink that is clinically proven to help you lose weight.
Just add water to the effervescent tablets to create drinks which will work in harmony with your natural body clock. Slimshot morning eliminates the fats that have become stored in your body, Slimshot noon restricts the absorption of fats by supressing the appetite until Slimshot night, when it burns fats through a thermogenic process. "

But you can save more than £6 a week by simply not eating those foods that make you hungry in the first place.
Potato and potato based products.eg.chips and crisps.
Rice and rice products.
Corn and corn products. eg. Cornflakes.
Grain based products. Eg.pasta, bread, biscuits, breakfast cereals, porridge.
Sweets, cakes, Danish pastries, fizzy drinks, juice .
All sugar and sugary products.
Margarine (chemically processed vegetable oils) and omega-6 rich oils are not suited for our bodies. They contribute to an increased risk for heart and artery problems, diabetes, overweight, cancer, allergies etc.
Oils with a high omega-6 content. Eg. corn oil, sunflower oil, soya oil, peanut oil.
If you don't eat the foods that raise your insulin levels your body is obliged to burn the fat it has stored. When your body does this you will feel more alert mentally and physically more active. Our bodies evolved to enable us to hunt when we needed food. For 2 million years we lived without corn or wheat.
Look here to see what happens if you give up wheat
Wheat-free is not gluten-free
By not eating foods that make you hungry, it is easy not to snack and not to overeat. I haven't found it difficult or a challenge in any way, and I haven't spent a penny on special foods, counseling, diet plans or books or anything else.My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

i do see your point, i used to eat bread at each meal - but have stopped doing it at lunchtime, so whether the drinks have helped in a placebo way or not i dont know - but i'm going to stick with them....Willow: I knew it, I knew it, well not in the sense of having the slightest idea, but I knew there was something I didn't know!0

does it have any side effects?0

not noticed any yet except for the warts on my nose and the glowing red eyes.... - no hang on, i had them anyway!!!!
only thing i have noticed so far is that i feel full most of the time, meaning that i do not want to snack - which i think is a habit thing anyway - once you are on a diet all you want to do is eat?Willow: I knew it, I knew it, well not in the sense of having the slightest idea, but I knew there was something I didn't know!0 -
