I had no probs getting mine, took 10 mins on phone, no ID required, paying in book and slips and all the paperwork came through in a week and then the card a day later then took 2 mins on phone to set up internet banking. I have called them a few times and always found them really helpful.
I to have noticed payments dont go through for a few days and also cheques paid in at the PO take a while, I dont know if thats the Co Op or the PO at fault there.0 -

Just thought i'd mention .. tried to get my car insurance last night through quidco with lloyds tsb car insurance... they don't accept visa electron
(realise this'll affect very few people but figured i'd post it anyway
)
luckily still have my lloyds account active so have transferred the money over there and will use the full visa card they let me keep

I rang co-op yesterday,as stated by others very easy with friendly very helpful staff.expect to receive details in 2-5 days.
