I think they were being sarcastic. Still it doesn't matter what it looks like but what it works like! I have a lovely collection of credit cards but none of them work.

It's virtually the same green as the American Express card used to be, otherwise known as "No wonder I've been sick - how did I manage to swallow something that colour?" green. :D I don't like green at all, in fact my Electron card is the only green thing in my home. It's there because I have to have it, but if I could change the colour I would. :)

They do a fraud search, but you should be fine. And the card is a pasty green colour, sorta washed out lime :rotfl::rotfl:

oh my god i just got refurred they could not make a decision for me that is shocking!! oh well

    Hi Darcy,

We got referred too, then we got a letter saying we'd been accepted, just had to send in more ID, all was fine after that. I think we may have been referred because I have a note on my credit file saying I need extra security checks as I was a victim if ID fraud last year (fools, I was broke at the time, they had no chance getting anything in my name!!!)

The green is a bit like the green bars on this page, just a bit more sludgy and slightly pearlised;)

I have nothing but praise for the Co-op.

I applied in Dec after realising that I couldn't continue with Natwest with them taking more than £100 a month in charges.

20 minute phone convo - they had to refer me cos there was a fraud notification on my credit file, but then my card arrived about 5 days after that.

    They've been lovely.

    Hi Darcy

Both H and I were 'referred' too when we applied for our cashminder accounts, but we rang them about a week later to check the progress and were given our account numbers and sort codes over the phone. The electron cards arrived about 3 days after than and the PINs another couple of days later.

    HTH :)
