Hi I just had a quick read through this thread. My son was a bit like your daughter. He seemed to enjoy playing me and my husband off against each other and both of us against his grandparents who felt sorry for the 'poor misunderstood little boy!' and spoilt him rotten. He improved a bit when we all started playing for the same team so to speak.
I concluded that he is very bright and cunning. He craved attention and got loads of it this way. I'm glad your husband is supporting you. If you still have problems I would suggest you seek the advice of a professional sooner rather than later. The teen years in our house were a complete nightmare. Better now though at last!
Good luck.0
