    Hi 10past6,

There's an earlier thread with lots of suggestions for hot food flasks so I've added your post to it to keep the replies together.

I was in Asda on Wednesday, couldn't see anything, however, following your post, I just had a look at Wilkinsons online, they have a stanly one for £4.99, I pop along ro my local store tomorrow.

    Thanks for the tip.

Have looked at the kids ones on amazon, but they havent had great reviews, people saying they dont keep hot until lunchtime.

So, what ones do you OS use??

    Thanks
  • Some schools don't allow hot flasks with soup. Some poor little child may get scalded with it.

    Hi angie,

I got a great thermos food flask from Asda (around £4) and it's lasted well and keeps stews, soups etc warm for my boys until lunchtime.

There's an earlier thread with lots of recommendations for food flasks that should help so I've added your thread to it to keep the replies together.

I made tea in a jug, which I poured into the flask. At first it seemed alright and I was well pleased with the nice warm orange brew, then the second cup seemed to be a bit grey, and as I worked my way down the flask it got greyer. Is this because it's a new flask? It's the first stainless steel type one I have had and I did give it a good clean before using it.

    Any suggestions?
