I got my 2 ds ones at Argos -= they were £9.99 each but are thermos stainless steel and they have easily paid for themselves. I had plastic ones from Asda before but they didn't keep stuff hot
The Aldi ones look great value though - but I don't have a MW“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

I'd particularly watch out for one of those with a 'pouring' lid as we got soup in one of those (they are sort of hollow) and I could NOT get the smell out - I tried everything, Bicarb, Bleach....everything! Whatever type you go for, make sure it has a solid lid!Bogof_Babe wrote:I've found that they do pick up a taint of whatever you carry in them over time, and it's not very nice drinking your coffee with a hint of casserole flavour!

Lakeland sell those 'lock and lock' things for holding cold drinks. I have 2 500ml ones. They cost about £2 each I think and I always carry them laid over on their side and shake them upside down and they've never yet leaked (in 18 months!)0

The Stanley flask, already mentioned, is in my opinion the very best option if you want to avoid buying another flask every couple of months.
I bought a new vacuum ordinary one from Asda and knocked it over on the beach on the very next morning, it clipped a pebble as it fell and that was enough to shatter it. I was very miffed as it was a large flask and cost about £9.
I bought my Stanley Flask from somewhere like Field and Trek (or maybe Millets) for £20. Only has one cup for pouring into, but that shouldn't be a problem for you.
Good luck getting one sorted out....0 -
As it says above I would be interested in which flasks/thermal cups you have tried and tested that would be suitable for taking hot soup to work for my lunch. TIABoots Card - £17.53, Nectar Points - £15.06 - *Saving for Chrimbo*2015 Savings Fund - £2575.000
