These are my utterly favourite vegetable. They're sweet and tender and crunchy all at the same time. Mmmmmm!
BUT! What on earth else can I do with them except steam them and have them with spuds or slice them and have them in stir fries in place of cabbage?
I have a lot in the house but no potatoes at the moment, although if someone can come up with something moreish, I'll go get some spuds right now!
By the way, don't know if it's brussel or brussels?!May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
I'm not fan of sprouts myself, but husband loves this:
Once they've been blanched, cook them in a little butter with some creme fraiche or cream.
You can also do this with leeks, really lovely!0 -
I love leeks too... Thanks!May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

Sprouts are great in bubble and squeak too!
My favourite bubble & squeak is made from sprouts, onions, a little chopped bacon, mash of course and some grated mature cheddar "An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"
