I always mix in some chopped up crispy bacon with Xmas sprouts,
and to be really money-saving you could use tha bacon you've had over the turkey breast0 -
for those of you mad enough to acutally like them
try cauliflower cheese only use sprouts instead of the cauli

The only way I will eat sprouts is to shred them up & stirfry with onion & bacon. It's good wth cabbage too - as pointed out by Ticklemouse above.
This way you avoid the smell of them boiling, which is far worse than the taste.0 -

All these sprout recipes sound really good. Great disguise, especially if they are shredded. Going to try that out on daughter really soon, who won't eat her veg, but had some success with spinach recently, so there is hope here. Unfortunately, I will end up like a barrel at this rate.
I really do like my veggies plainly steamed, the flavour is so much nicer.....well, when I don't have them roasted and drizzled with oil and herbs, or in a cream/cheese sauce.......... ;D0 -

i love veggies in cheese sauces, but have restricted it to once a week. why can't they make fat free calorie free cheese.0 -
