Not a recipe as such, I roasted a couple of parsnips and 3 reasonable sized carrots in frylite then whized them in the processor, added half a tub of quark and a good tsp garam masala, it was really tasty!:D

Back to work now........0 -
Hello all! Welcome to our new home, it's quite lovely isn't it!
OH and I went for a drink last night with my work people, I had a JD and diet coke, and a pint of Magners...For dinner we had pesto tortellini, and we shared a Bounty bar. Very naughty. Have realised that all my good work goes to waste with my alcohol consumption, so OH and I are going to invest in some nice juices etc for drinking at home, and we've got Saturday plans which involve a lot of fresh air and walking
Today:
B: 1 small wholemeal roll, toasted with lime marmalade
S: milky coffee, 1 sugar (post blood-test)
L: red pepper soup, orange
S: pearlasagne and salad (small portion).
WILL go check out our local swimming pool this week, have been intending to but OH's earlier-than-normal starts and my blood test got in the way! Tomorrow is the plan (not for a swim, just for a nose - haven't got a swimsuit yet!) xx0 -

Best laid plans and all that....
Rubbish day yesterday foodwise. Just rubbish stuff into mouth silly whotsit.
This morning still good intentions, and OK it was porridge, but washing machine just poured water all over floor (zip fastener stuck in the door seal, so water everywhere).
Cleared it up and I will now have a coffee rather than stuff myself with whatever is to hand!!!!0 -
Hi to all
Congratulations on the weight losses!
Can sympathise with the baby days. My youngest is two now so sleep is sorted, just the emotional rollcoaster that he puts me on all day long that has me running for the biscuit tin.
Am on 7,000 steps already (yep busy day so far). Off out for a meal tonight but eating at a vegetarian cafe. There is a deal for soup, main and pudding for a tenner! Well, will have to eat pudding now of course! Am saving up my points and doing loads of walking.

Hello All,
Have a good evening out JuliaSpecial Hellos to Teachers pet MrsM:hello: and DapsyTappsy:hello:
Have become acutely aware today that I am walking a tight rope as far as binging is concerned. I felt REALLY possitive today at work and almost said to myself " this is easy, I've got this licked"
Then on the way home from work I passed the chippy and a wave of hunger and longing for greasy chips came over me. Dont worry I didn't stop but just when I think I'm safe, that bloody toad rears it's ugly head again. I have to really concentrate hard not to fall off. I guess I just need to make sure I don't look down
Glad you're all fine and dandy, off to walk the hounds now

Hi Frogga
Difficult isn't it. About 6 years ago I lost 5 stone before my wedding, and I can honestly say, not once did I lose the urge to binge. I think it is more a case of learning how to control it. I don't think it ever disappears. Don't mean to be negative but I feel the journey in learning to control it is a constant one. You are not alone thats for sure.
Would like to add that after wedding, had two babies close together and yep, on the weight loss road again. Got over 5 stone to lose but so far so good, one day at a time.
