Weighed in today. Lost 4lbs!!!
Very chuffed. My friend lost 4lb too so we celebrated with a pub lunch followed by an icecream in the sun.I'm very happy I've lost after just cutting out cream cakes - my diet has been largely healthy but by no means austere and I've still indulged my sweet tooth.
Now for the difficult second week where I traditionally sabotage myself by putting it all back on again.
Today's food:
Brekkie - banana, porridge
Lunch - tuna melt with salad and chips
Dinner - Linda McCartney pie and baked beans (I'm using up freezer stuff till shopping day!)
Snacks: festival icecream, ww choc dessert, muller light yoghurt

Mrs M – Dh left the army in 2000 after serving 8 years, 3 of them he was based in Germany (Herford and Minden if they mean anything to you?). He was posted to Bosnia for 6 months 6 weeks after we met which wasn’t nice, especially as Kosovo was kicking off at the time, I kept thinking he might be sent there instead but thankfully he wasn’t. He handed his notice in as soon as he got back from Bosnia and came out after giving 12 months notice, driving 5 hours each weekend to see me :smileyhea:
I think the only things he misses are having a laugh with the lads and drinking lots of beer . He doesn’t miss sitting in his tank somewhere on Salisbury plain in the middle of the night freezing his you know whats off :rotfl:
I was never an army wife and he never gave me the option of being one, although I got a insight of what the people left at home go through when they go away. Hubby was safe stuck on his hill in the middle of Bos but it was hard not to watch what was happening in Kosovo live on the telly. It all becomes very real when the telly goes on. I still starting blubbing to this day when I see news clips or films of troops returning him back to loved ones.
Do you think your hubby will be off anywhere sometime soon Mrs M? Hope he gets somewhere cushy, but that’s not what they want is it, they want to see a bit of action . Typical.
Anyway back on topic.
Was very naughty today. Hubby wanted a Macdonalds, so I had mozzerella sticks, a cheeseburger and fries, and vanilla milkshakeDidn’t feel like much for tea, picked at a baked pot and some salad despite finally having dug my veg patch over at last. Will have smoothie for brekkie tomorrow, at my mums for lunch (probably soup and pizza) and then chilli for tea.
Hope to sow some veg seeds straight outside. Really hoping I haven’t left it too late.
Kentish Maid please hurry up and get back onto your food, I’m getting impatient
Well dones to HollyH, JoJoB………………..and to purpleivy’s DD for passing her driving theory
Hope everyone has a nice day0 -
Food really up the creek today, managed to eat only one of th chocolates that were out for us while we rehearsed and recorded this evening, Had a pear when I came in and a cuppa. Could do with some normal eating but not sure how I@m going to manage that,
FOr those that were asking... we (chorus) were filmed by BBC for NorthWest tonight this evening, singing 'Glory Glory Man United'. We'll be going out at the end of the programme tomorrow night... 6.50-7pm tomorrow, as the finale to the piece about the match. The same guy filmed us this time, that came when we did a piece about 'I Predict A Riot'. It was an exhausting evening, but always a lot of fun."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Morning fat fighters.
Well I've had an apple and 2 slices of vogel bread toast with peanut butter so far and it's only 6 am! Darn this baby and her sleeping habits, if she stayed asleep i wouldn't have eaten at all lol.
I have a few danger days coming up. Today my OH is away for the day which usually triggers a visit to the sweetie shop and indulgence in the things I feel too guilty to eat in front of people. So will attempt to control myself. And have my cousin coming to visit this weekend which usually entails drunken debauchery and the rubbish food that goes with a hangover. Luckily I am breastfeeding and don't want to give baby liver disease so won't be as bolloxed as in the pre-baby days. Have plenty of expressed milk in the freezer so I can have one guilt-free fun night though.
Have a good day everyone!2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -
