Morning all :hello:
Thanks NIX for the link. Just waded through it all and full of common sense and like you said, just what we're all about on here.
MRSM I think I would do the same in your position. You must feel so helpless to help your sis and family with so many miles between you. I hope all goes well for her, but if not, time you spend together would help you both. Like Cheerfulness found with her problems, a cuddle can make a world of difference. Thinking of you.
Another damp day here, but for some unknown reason my ancient one was almost back to her old self this morning and the stroll round the block turned into a walk in the woods round our local hill. I took two dogs while junior was thundering round the park with DH. Perhaps having canine competition spured her on, but it was great.
The slug treatment arrived today and is currently sitting in the fridge  , DH will be pleased (not). It said to give the plot a good watering first so this rain is most welcome. After that the beans are going in and I can't wait to start chomping on home grown Runner beans, yum.
Spent yesterday doing the jobs I'd put off, like replacing zip in Ds's trousers and ploughing through the ironing :A , so today on a similar theme I'll be having a good clean so I can abandon the house as soon as the weather bucks up and get into the garden again. I've just recieved Alan Titchmarsh's book on growing your own fruit and veg, free for resubscribing to a magazine I love. It's very good and describes some methods I remember my Grandpa using, some very happy memories revisited.
Food wise just plodding on hoping to make the MIM target. Today will be a large salad for lunch with part of jacket potato left from last nights monster! Yogurt for pud, date and fig for snack and free range chicken stirfry with lots of veg and noodles in chilli sauce, nomnomnom! Had the usual breakfast of oatabix, half banana, grapes, yogurt, flaked almonds and ss milk, plus fruit juice.
Have a good day all, the weather may not be marvelous but we are!!!!!:D

If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are." Unknown0 -
Hi all,
Feel rubbish today and it doesn't help that someone brought in a massive box of biccies for us all. Haven't had any but every time I pass through they are there staring at me. OH is working tonight so I will probably just have beans on toast or something simple, can't be arsed cooking just for me (maybe thats why I was thin before I met him!)
B: Porridge with half water half skimmed milk and an apple
L: Mixed salad with black olives, falafel and some light salad creamBeans on toast or wholemeal pasta pesto with peas
S: Fruit and nut bar, not the choccy sort, made by Love Foods and they taste fab0 -
Jeeez quiet on here today, appart from me (my3rd post I think:rolleyes: )
Guess it's all half termy type stuff going on! I wonder how the amphibian is getting on blagging her way into the show:p :rotfl:
I'm trying soo hard for my MIM challenge but I think two pounds this week is unlikely...:o
I'm also trying to have 8 huge glasses of water only because Nix said I had to, no idea why but I'm swishing round the office like a gudden!!
B- yogurt and digestive
L- tuna salad
D- grilled sausages asparagas, carrots and anything else on the turn;)
S- banana, apple 2x satsuma and maybe a fairy cake later
Missed my lunchtime walk and feel lardy.....
Kentish Maid come and work in Kemsing, join me on my strolls0 -
Hello, can I join in? I'm very keen to lose some weight before I go on holiday to Greece in September. I've lost 4 pounds so far and I've got about another million to go! If I could lose 10 pounds a month till my trip I might even dare to wear shorts for the first time since I was a teenager!
So far today:
B Fruit juice. Special K with milk. Coffee with one sugar (the only one of the day)
L Jacket potato and baked beans. Apple
D To be confirmed - any easy suggestions? I have eggs, tinned tomatoes, frozen veg. Pitta bread.0 -
Afternoon Everyone,
Back form the Suffolk Show where we got a bit cold and wet but had a nice time, I did have to pay to get in though
MrsM ~ thinking of you and here if you need me (((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))))))))) to you and yours, just phone when you're over if you need me with transport or anything :A
You made a lot of sense Cheerfulness, I too hat to admit that I am less than perfect. That's why I really HATE this damm eating dissorder as everyone can see it  If I was an alcoholic or drug adict at least it could be private. Am really looking forward to my new job starting in Sept as no one there will know I was so big before. If things go acording to plan I could be a relativly normal size by then and so I'll just look a little bit chubby. That will easily come off and then I can just blend into the background without anyone knowing my historyBliss
This time I'm gonna keep my private life just that, private! I have made the mistake in my current job of telling everyone everything about my life. Trouble is the then judge you and comment when you might not want it. This time I will be friendly, but professional, and stick to work related topics only
Right off to walk the hounds, have a good afternoon everyone, one more day tomorrow then WDSay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Afternoon SS - would love to come and work in Kemsing - could go home to mums for lunch thenDid some agencies this morning - one of them very positive and helpful. Will of course keep looking for myself as well. Am now sitting watching the rain come down (again) and catching up on some TV - just chilling really. Back to work tomorrow so making the most of it.:T Food still not good - need to get back to routine (how sad is that when work is a routine that helps my weightloss)! Am really not hopeful for that pound this week but hey no - can start again next week:j
Was having a thought the other day my friends - what is your aim when you are at your ideal weight. I mean - do you have a particular item of clothing you would like to wear, something you feel you could only do if smaller (skydiving!)
I would just like to be able to walk into a shop and pick up a standard size 14 and get into it :T (oh - and quite fancy a sexy tattoo somewhere on my newly sylph like body, for OH eyes only of course)
Take care all.
And Mrs Mac - go to your sister, she and your niece will need you. Thinking of you.:grouphug:Joined WW again!! in November 2010 - four stone loss so far :T

Hi, I'm a long time lurker on this thread. Normally I just enjoy reading everyone's posts and picking up some tips etc, but I could do with losing a stone myself!
:hello: to Saversarn in Kemsing? (you're just down the road from me!) Big hello to everyone else too0 -

No, I'm near Otford, enjoying the "lovely" weather.0 -
MrsM.. go get your packing done.. you MUST go. Your niece needs you, your mum needs you and above all your sister needs you.. she will tell you the things she will keep from her mum and daughter... go make her laugh.. laughter is the very best medicine after all!!! If you don't go you will regret it in years to come. you know where you need to be.. and I'm sure hubby will be fine on his course.. a little white lie to protect those we love is definitely allowed under the circumstances!
