I'd like to keep a track of what I'm eating each day but don't want to have to do complicated portion/calorie/fat/GI calcuations. I just want something simple where I can write down what I've eaten and then print out a report of the last day/week/month. If I could clone the Spending Diary website that would be perfect
Go to thedailyplate.com sign up it's free (well I only use the free bit) and you can log your food all day, make graphs and goals and all sorts.
Warning it is American but they have lots of british stuff too and you can add anything manually that they do not have on their database yet.

As suspected I have put on - a whopping 3 lbs! Lost 4 last week so at least I am still slightly ahead.
All those empty alcohol calories from the weekend coming back to haunt me, and the irony is I didn't even enjoy the drinking all that much. Well done toni and holly on your lovely losses. :T :T :T
And big well done to slimmer of the week Recovering  (hope all goes well for you tomorrow.) Thanks also for asking about DS. He's doing quite a bit better and is now back properly at work in a routine, which seems to be great. Least we've had no 'walkabouts' recently and he seems much happier.
Taplady - sure your DS will be fine again on the road. Hadn't realised he'd changed jobs. Hope all goes well for him.MAY GROCERY CHALLENGE £0/ £250

Congrats to all the losers and evening all :j
I have come to the conclusion that the nearer I get to a goal the worse I get! I used to be like this with WW - I would get to within a pound or two of a goal and then Bu**er about:mad: . Need to get my head in gear or that pound this week is not going to happen.
Enough moaningToni - have a good holiday and my JIJ challenge I think will be 8lb. That would be 2lb a week - doable. I have also not been drinking enough water whilst at home so need to address that as I firmly believe it helps me.
Oh - and I went for a swim today:T
Tomorow is another day off. Today have been trolling the job agencies as I am on the hunt for a new job (and I may be being made redundant - not confirmed yet though) and am off to see some more tomorrow.
Night allJoined WW again!! in November 2010 - four stone loss so far :T

Been a funny day today, things out of kilter with the kids home, but I really need to get a grip, as things are going to be up the creek here for the next few weeks.
Breakfast was oats and fruit
Snack, can't remember if I had one.... might have had some chocolate...30g
Lunch mushrooms, low fat parma ham with it, very small piece of bread. Jam tart, nat yogt with a spoonful of prune puree.
Snack more chocolate. Another jam tart.
Dinner. Others had hm pizza. I had a brown crust with 1/2 peanut butter and 1/2 jam.
Snack nougat.
Well, that's what I can remember. This morning I put gel overlay on dd's toes and prepped her fingernails. Then went to floors2go for flooring for my new office/craft/treatment room. Forgot to take the shelf to match the colour. Also went to ALdi to get the UHT skimmed for the month. ALso got a load of fruit and veg. THis afternoon I did sculpted gel nails for dd (it's her ball tomorrow) and french overlay. Some little rhinestones on big toes and little fingers. Shaped her eyebrows yesterday. She feels rather smug, as there are girls at sch who are spending a fortune on stuff, but I've done quite a few bits for her. Her friend is going to do her hair. Her grandma spent a lot on a dress for her (I was going to get it, but MIL said it could be part of her 18th birthday pressie) but her bangles were £1 and hand bag £8. Shoes less than £30 (Kaliko) but reduced from £50+. I offered to send her for a fake tan, but her attitude is that she doesn't want to look orange like all the other girls. Not one to conform!
Then eventually I have the shelf out to match at floors2go, get there and find I have forgotten it! I took a guess at the colour, does seem OK. Went to LIdl to top up on flourand get a salami. Pleased that LIdl has bread flour again. Even more pleased that it is the same price.
Well, not sure what tomorrow is going to bring. FInal bits for dd. I need to get on top of housework and the spare room needs sorting, as it's going to be in constant use...
28-31 dd b/f.... and 6 more of her friends here on Saturday night!
1-4 Mum and Dad
5-9 friend from Germany.
Then dh goes away 12-16 and dd is away 20-24. No 2 days will be the same.
Made an apple cake which is supposed to be low fat, it seems rather heavy and under cooked so trying to microwave it for a few mins to cook a bit further.
Hope you are all getting on better than I am"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Hello all
Here's me feeling all virtuous because I've just been to "Legs, Bums and Tums". I also spent a couple of hours this afternoon strolling round Birmingham Nature Centre with the kids so my exercise levels have been good today.
Here is what I have eaten.
B ~ Cinammon and raisin bagel with marg and jam and a piece of toast with peanut butter and jam.
L~ Wholemeal deli roll with hummous, cucumber and cherry toms. One apple and a handful of grapes.
D ~ Puy lentil and pearl barley casserole. One soya yogurt.
I made some peanut butter oat cakes for the kids and had a couple of those, but I made them small on purpose so I don't think they've done too much damage. All in all, I think I'm doing quite well.
NIX - I had a quick look at that site and there does seem to be some very interesting stuff on it. I'll look through it properly when I've got more time. Thanks for posting it.

Morning Peeps,
Terrible night here last night with a very loud thunder storm  Woke the Tadpoles up at 3am so everyone will be tired and grumpy today me thinks
Was thinking last night about this latest atempt at weight loss. This will defo have to be my last and final, sucessful though, attempt. I just dont think I could go through all this again you know.
Had a few upsets recently, nothing major, trouble for Tadpole 2 at school with someone else's Tadpole, a family member unwell et.c and I really wanted to eat. I know it's cheerfullness who says we just have to find anoother way of coping, but I haven't found that yet, I'm not sure what it would be
Mr Frog thought he might not get home last night so I was cheesed off and I really wanted to eat something nice to cheer me up. I know it's wrong to use food that way but I can't seem to manage stop thinking of food as comfort and just as fuel
I'm getting there though. If I can just get to 16ish , I'll really notice the difference and then it will give me the encouragement to carry on. When I start to get to a normal size I really get addicted to loosing it and it becomes SO much easier.
Thanks for posting the site Nixy :T I've bookmarked it and I'll have a good look later x
Right, off to take the Tadpoles to the Suffolk Show today. Gonna see if I can get in for the 5th year on the trot for freeI have a secret technique ~ we stand at the entrance gate, look all dejected at the extortionate prices and then grab a man in a bowler (VIP) and he takes us in as a guest
Noone seems to be able to resist Tadpole 1's smile :T I got into the Tower of London this way, very MSE
