    Morning folks :hello:
I WI this morning first time in 2 weeks and have STS :j :j 11 stone exactly!!
I'm really pleased at that :D Mind you I think I sweated most of that off at dancing last night  despite the heat we worked really hard:eek: I was so tired I just had a glass of soya milk and went to bed, my feet felt like puddings they were so hot and swollen

Woke up at 3am with a horrendous headache which I realise now is caffeine withdrawal, I worked out I'd missed 6 cups of tea  yesterday as I'd been out and about so drinking water.

Feel a bit more human now I've had my 'fix' ;)
Brekkie was a slice of toast and honey at home then an egg muffin from the canteen:o
Lunch is pasta salad and tea will be moroccan style veggie burgers with spuds and veggies of some description.

Well done MrsM :T :T Well done Frogga, back on the wagon next week :T Well done Floyd :T

Worked out this morning that it's 8 weeks to my birthday, I've only 7lbs to lose so I should do it by then if I get my ar*e in gear shouldn't I???

    Morning all,

Mrs MC...you blow my mind, well done on the huge loss!

Frogga....not bad for a week off the wagon, is it? Hand is out to you if you need a bit of a tug to get you back.

Rockie...you should have no problem getting rid of 7 lbs before your birthday.

Well done floyd...no gain is GOOD.

Pleased to report that there is another pound gone from my midriff, if I can stay off the rubbish I might make this 1 lb a week until christmas.

    Have a good day all

    Does anybody mind if
    I SHOUT REAL LOUD

    I've lost
    3lb
    AND I'M SO PROUD!
    ..................................................HIT the JULY target too!

I've been struggling for many a year with M.E./CFS, little exercise and post-menopause. Last week found I had a rogue gene that scuppers my cholesterol, so I have to take statins for ever. All my mum's family died through this, so definitely in the family.
My diet has been pretty good for a long time so the abnormal cholesterol is not food related. Anyway without too much ado I've actually starting losing and feel so much better. I have to avoid butter, cream, liver, pastries etc and a couple of things I actually enjoyed - prawns and marmite- but I never went overboard on those things anyway. So now the medication has "kicked in" I can really be a big-time loser.
What I have gained is the quiet or virtual encouragement from this thread and this really has helped. Thank you.

    Hey everyone!

I've stayed the same, but VERY happy with that!

Today and tomorrow will be rubbish.

B: 1 slice toast, baked beans
    S: satsuma
L: pub lunch (planning morroccan chicken flatbread, which is basic but yummy and about 400 cals)
    D: curry

Tomorrow we're at a wedding. Having lunch before hand and fully intend on partying hard at the 'do, but will burn off extra calories by walking in heels for the first time in 10 years. Hurrah!!

Have a lovely weekend everyone xx

  • Hello everyone! :T to all the losers!

yet ANOTHER trip to the fracture clinic this morning for plaster cast number 3 to be put on! as the swelling is going dowm the plaster keeps loosening and falling off!

Mrs M - good luck at the doctors - you are certainly doing all the right risk management things.

pebbles - hope you are not as tired and OH got on okay at the fracture clinic.

Frogga - 4lbs isn't bad - you know it could have been worse!

It is incredibly hot and muggy here today - too hot for me and it makes me grumpy!

    Hi Lainie,

Everyone here is exceptionally helpful and you are welcome to join in. The key to this group is support to lose weight in a healthy and moneysaving way so you won't find any fad shakes, meal replacements or starvation plans here just good nutritious home cooking, plenty of fruit and veg and moderate exercise.
Some do Slimming World, some do Weight Watchers, others including myself count calories or watch fat intake.
Most people post daily food diaries as it makes us think a little more about what we eat and also if any of us hit a sticking point people can make suggestions on what might help.

    Welcome aboard :)

Evening folks :hello: Hi and welcome Laine75:wave:
Not the best of days for me, I wasn't hungry at lunchtime afer my 2nd brekkie, so just had a cuppa. My headache went bad again and deided to become a migraine:mad: so I had a bag of kettle chips with my pill (:naughty: meds on an empty stomach)

We've just had my lunchtime pasta salad with a moroccan veggie burger and a slice of HM multigrain bread for tea. Not the healthiest of days for me!

OH is back to full volume now after his sulk  and has announced he needs to do something about his health which no doubt means 3 or 4 days of no fags, coffee, or junk food:rolleyes: and then he'll have another blow out!! He rang me in Asda and said to get some porridge  in 20 years I've NEVER seen him eat porridge:rotfl: lets see what tomorrow brings........
