    Hi All

So sorry to hear of your loss Mrs M. I hope all the good wishes you are receiving will help you in some small way on your journey back home.

I have had an 'interesting' day today. I seemed to have a very busy morning despite being up at 6.30am to write an article. I was teaching this afternoon and had a lovely time but managed to write on the fairly new whiteboard with a permanent marker. I don't know how the school will get it off but am crossing my fingers they will be able to do so. I felt dreadful once I'd realised and had to go confess to the Head.

I then had to run for the bus to get home again (they are only one an hour) and the bus driver decided to tease me by driving alongside me very slowly with doors shut grinning his head off. He did stop before the bus stop though and let me on. Still I suppose it was good exercise.

B: Muesli with skimmed milk and raisins. Cranberry and raspberry juice.
    L: Egg roll. Banana.
D: 3 tiny pancakes as I had some Yorkshire pudding mixture left from Sunday lunch. I don't like sweet pancakes so just had them with a sprinkling of salt. Raspberries with HM yoghurt.

My knitting is still keeping me busy. I've finished my doll and her basic outfit and am now knitting the extras. I've just made a stripy hat with pompom and am now doing a winter jacket. I may even go the whole hog and make matching scarf and mittens.

    Have a good evening everyone.

    Hi all,

Think I am going to find another breakfast option as porridge is really starting to make me gag in the mornings. Maybe a slice of toast with some microwave scrambled egg? I need something that will keep me from picking until around 1pm and I eat at 8am so fruit and yoghurt just doesn't cut it.

Today is more of the same, busy day so hopefully no picking, plus I am still buzzing about my loss so won't want to spoil it :)

B: Porridge (water & semi skimmed)
L: HM Leek and potato soup
    D: Prawn laksa noodle soup

S: Probably nothing because I haven't worked out how many calories are in the prawn laksa yet so I best be careful

I've switched to oats soaked overnight in water in the fridge (but you can do milk too). Yesterday I had it with cherries and a little sugar. Today was raisins banana and a drizzle of maple syrup. I've got so bored of porridge and the soaked oats are a bit different and nearly as filling ;)

    Hope everyone is ok. :o
