Afternoon Guys,
MrsM will be really touched by all our thoughts and messages I know. How lovely to see that we can share a tear as well as a laugh. It is with the greastest of respect that I'll post my food for the day if that's ok.
B~ Poridge
L~Jacket pot and chilli and RS's roasted veggies
S~Melon and Soya Yog
T~Stuffed Mushrooms with salad and Houmous
Yummy Yummy in my Tummy
I am trying to eat more different things. I usually stick to EXACTLY the same foods everyday as I'm a bit obsessed like that in case you hadn't noticed  Usually anything different would set me off but I aint weird like that anymore. With that thought in mind I'll try SW homemade chips tomorrow
Have a peaceful evening everyone :ASay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Someone else told me about that book, they'd bought it and found it very interesting.....
I've done semiSW today, I had some stuff to use up so I've 'eaten gently'
Boiled eggs and dry toast for brekkie, lunch was a jacket spud with hummus and salad (all home grown:D ), tea was quorn sausage, sweet potato mash, beetroot tops  (very tasty) and broad beans followed by strawberries. I had some cherries this afternoon and have loads of fruit to snack on tonight - OH is working :rotfl:
Frogga - SW chips with a poached egg and beans is my favourite meal  I really don't like 'proper' chips any more, I find them too greasy!

Hello everyone - just had a read of that Daily Mail article and am going to get the book too.
I have done a green food optimising day today, which has been nice, but I think I prefer the original days. Food today has been:
Breakfast - a banana
Lunch - SW chips, beans, omelette, nectarine
Snack - some cherries
Dinner - rest of my hm tomato and vegetable soup with a handful of little pasta shapes thrown in to thicken it into a sort of pasta 'n'sauce with 28g cheddar cheese melted through. It wasn't a huge portion but was really tasty. WW yoghurt and a few strawberries.
I didn't par boil or micro the chips before I put them in the oven and they were fine. I let them cook for a good while so they were nice and crunchy.
I went to Tescos before and they had lovely fruit so stocked up although it wasn't really all that cheap, but I figure that I used to spend loads more than I spent today on binge food so it's moneysaving;) Got strawberries, cherries, bananas, fuji apples (the absolutely most crispiest apples in the world!), nectarines, plums and peaches. The tinned pineapple in juice was only 24p a can too so got some of that.
I had a good clean of the house today and got about half done - the bedrooms are still a mess but I am not touching DD1's on principle and DD2's is in the middle of being done out so I am leaving that one too.
Hope you are all having a good evening. Thinking of you Mrs M....Jane
