Hi everyone
I've food optimised rigidly this week & am pleased to report 5LB LOSS!!!
Most of this is weight gained over past 2 weeks but it now brings me to 2st loss which is great. Plus, scales were flickering to the number below rather than above so think I am finally on track.
Chinese takeaway tonight but will be straight back to food optimising tomorrow so hopefully more loss next week. Total debt £21,000 :eek:Weight loss to date - 2 st, 2lb:j0 -
Hello everyone and well done to Floyd:T , Chloebelle:T Superspam:T and all other losers! Kitty - huge comiserations on the gain, but on the plus side it will be mostly fluid and will come off quickly. I have a similar (well a bit more actually) amount of weight to lose as you and am plagued by the urge to give in all the time, but Frogga keeps me on the straight and narrow! ( 9 stone is eminently doable - you could get more than half of that off my Christmas)
Frogga - :T on resisting the binge urge last night - I am seriously proud of you!
(((hugs))) to Mrs M and Cheerfulness.
I had a good day yesterday with my food optimising and woke up this morning feeling decidedly lighter - however as luck would have it I had lent my scales to my friend to weigh her luggage on so couldn't give in to the temptation to jump on and see what I weighed! I have told her not to return them to me until Tuesday in time for WI on Wednesday. Obsessive weighing myself is something I always give in to and if I don't see the result I want it sends me straight to the bread bin!
Today I have had:
Breakfast - a banana
Lunch - 2 slices of wholemeal toast, 2 laughing cow triangles and some tuna concoction (tuna, chopped celery, cucumber, spring onion, tomato and hard boiled eggs)
don't know what to do for the tea yet.
Hope you are all having a good Sunday.Jane

afternoon all!
Hi RS:hello: glad you're doing well with SW!
well done chloe and welcome back Kitty!
Well my plans went awry and we missed lunch as we were out shopping so had a latte:eek: half a kitkat and then later 2 more rows of choccie(Tesco cheapie) so have got dinner cooking now to have early.
Back to it tomorrow with much more determination!;)Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Golly it is quiet here these days, but so many of you are doing brilliantly with your loses:T :T . Frogga you are being a little gem resisting all those temptations, well done.
Welcome back Kitty and just think small targets at a time, each one a step towards a slimmer, healthier you. You can do it lass, and we're all here to help.
Having my DH on holiday hasn't exactly done wonders for the meal planning, especially with the kitchen upside down, but have managed to STS this week. I only know that because I had to weigh myself in order to weigh my 'ancient one'. I've been thinking she looks thinner these past few days (but they always do after molting) but even DS commented yesterday. So I weighed me then me plus dog and to my horror it came out that she's 2KGs less than in March, and her breath smells like the kids did when they were ill. So tomorrow it's off to the vets for us and I'm worried  , we all love her to bits.
To take my mind off things (temporarily) I made some jam yesterday with some of the gorgious strawberries from the garden. I used a Jamie Oliver recipe with reduced sugar. 1Kg of strawberries to 150gms of sugar. Much runnier than normal jam but fantastic to dribble over yogurt etc and feel reasonably :A . It won't keep as long either, but then it won't have to in this household.:D
Off now to see about tea. DS and I are having GFY Lasagna and salad and DH a pizza as a treat, well he has moved tons of scaffolding this week from here to his parents house, and it is his holiday after all :rotfl: .
Have a great rest of the weekend folks.
MRSM :grouphug: we're all thinking of you and your family.

Suzi - hope your dog is okay.
Welcom Zara - you haven't got that much to lose and everyone on here has loads of good ideas so you'll get that off in no time!
Went to Borders this afternoon to meet up with my friend, and was very good and only had an americano with skimmed milk! Given that I adore caramel machiatos that is a minor miracle!
Just had my tea of 4 ryvitas, 28g cheddar, 2 laughing cow triangles, four pickled onions and two slices of home cooked ham, followed by an Activia fat free yoghurt, a banana and 2 plums. It was delicious! I am really liking this food optimising at the moment - just hope I lose when I weigh myself on Wednesday.
Still no word from Mrs M or cheerfulness?Jane

Hi there folks
Just a very quick one to say i should be back home a week on Monday and hopefully can get back into the swing of posting....Thanks for all the kind thoughts and PMs... Just haven't been able to bring myself to sit n type...
anyhow... despite her best efforts my lovely sis lost her battle Friday evening so as you can imagine my head is all over the place -but im thankfull that she is no longer in pain, or morphined out of it... and she passed where she wanted to -tucked up in her own bed with her hubby by her side.... so we have her funeral later this week and then i will be heading home... mama passed away about 1hr after i last posted to say the army were sending a car for us-so that funeral was held monday..still she at least was 93 where as sis was only 41... anyway -enough waffle..will try and get back to normal once i get home... im trying to keep up with the thread but its all going straight through my head right now...
So keep up the good work folks and i will be back soon -spurred on by making a promise to sis that i would get the rest of the weight off and keep it off...
