Hi All
Sorry to hear about your sister Mrs M.
Well done Frogga and Rockie on your weight losses. I can recommend knitting as a weight loss aid as have lost another 1lb this week bringing me to 10 st 9lbs. That's 2lbs off my June target so I am unlikely to make the full 7lbs but will keep trying. I was extra pleased as we went to the cinema last night on impulse (to see Indiana Jones) and I succumbed to a white Magnum.
I am planning another long walk this afternoon. I also have a series of articles to research about Christmas(!) and finance and hopefully will get one written today. Added to that babysitting for the baby upstairs and hoping to do some more knitting I am going to be far too busy to nibble.
I am not quite sure what I will be eating today but tentative plans are as follows.
B: Muesli with skimmed milk and raisins. Cranberry and raspberry juice.
L: HM tortilla wrap with lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes and ham. BananaMinced beef with cauliflower, broccoli, spinach and mashed potatoes. Raspberries with HM yoghurt.
Good luck to everyone else weighing in today.

Have been distracting myself with sewing and knittingnow..NO laughing as this is my 1st little soldier..i can knit the bits no problem but always get in a pickle when im sewing up..so "any hints rockie?" or anyone else

Hope they get your dad sorted soon... well done on sorting out the visiting :T I know what you mean about feeling useless.. i keep thinking about going back..but as the family keep pointing out ..there is nothing i can do really -only make her panic as to why i have gone back..so im sitting tight for the moment...although its a comfort to know that i can get a "compassionate flight" via the army... if hubby goes in mon-fri i should be abe to get on the flight on a sunday.. for about €42 returneeeeeee the forces really do come into their own at times like this:T

Hi all!
Well done Frogga and Rockie - Broad Bean RIsotto sounds delicious! Never really tried risotto (OH doesn't like it) but may make some for lunches next week - got some broad beans in the freezer (sure i'd like it, I like rice so I must?!)
Big hugs to Mrs M... love your little soldier!!!! x
Right - been very good since getting back from the weekend, and have lost 2 pounds this week so right on target!
Today:
B: 1 slice toast w/ apricot jam
S: orange / yoghurt
L: veggies and noodleslean steak mince taco shells (one of those old El Paso kits that OH smuggled into the trolley!) - am allowing myself 3 shells, minimum mince and lots of salad and rice
Just managed 9 mins jogging and 1 min bouncing on rebounder too (running late today!)
Have a lovely day you all xx0 -
Mrs M, I hope your sister is comfortable and pain free at the moment, and well done on your 1lb loss. It's better than 1lb on!
Rockie and Frogga, well done on your losses too.
2 lbs off for me this week. I'm quite pleased as I did have one small child driven chocolate lapse.
Take care all of you.0 -
Big WOOHOOs to Rockie, Frogga, Rose and Cranky. :j :T :j
Mrs M - Don't be disappointed at a pound loss - at least its a loss and that's great with all the worry you've got at the moment. The soldier's very cute btw.
Well, I have gained, but not as much as I was expecting so I'm not feeling so bad. 4lb gain for me.
I have had a bad week food wise and then I found myself comfort-eating last night because of it. Then OH didn't get home from work in time for me to go to my Aqua class - he knows I love it and I was really upset with him
Anyway, today I am starting again.
Breakfast - cinamon and raisin bagel with thin scraping of bramble jelly
Lunch - Hummus and salad with a pitta bread.
Dinner - Sweet and Sour veg with either rice or baked potato (don't know which I fancy yet!)
And I will not eat anything else and I will only eat small portions. Wish me luck as I try to get back on track.

Hey guys, quick one for me. I've STS for the second week running - but really not bothered as I knew what was coming. Still working out like a demon and eating really well and drinking tons of water and I deffo have some loose fat going on. Does anyone else get that before their weight drops? Your wobbly bits seem even wobblier and then next week you have a drop? Maybe it's just me LOL
Well done all losers - Frogga, how super amazing are you! Proper chuffed for you honey. Also I feel your poo pain, I am regular as clockwork, fag and a brew in the morning and off I scuttle
Hugs to MrsM and Toni - it's awful when your loved ones are ill, sending you both loads of strength and support
Right I'm off for another week, see you on the darkside kiddlywinks xxComps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%

Morning folks :hello:
(((((hugs))))) MrsM, I do hope your sister feels better soon. It's a horrible illness. My ex OH has his op date 18th August, one more round of chemo. He actually looks really well, better than he's looked for a while......
On a more cheerful note - sewing up... I hate it:eek: I always had to do my Mums as well as mine 'cos as she put it she 'sewed with a redhot needle and a burning thread':rotfl: No tips other than to take your time and sew with a backstitch rather than oversew if you can, it gives a neater finish.
I must look in my book to see if I have the soldier pattern, he's lovely :T
I was a baddie last night, OH came in and made toast  it set me off and I had 4slices with lemon curd and 2 choccie biscuits  I don't know why I did it but I had a really bad nights sleep and have a headache lurking this morning - stupid Rockie
Boiled eggs and soldiers for brekkie, jacket and beans for lunch, not sure yet for tea. I might go for a swim at lunchtime, it might help clear my head.
Well done my fellow losers :T :T0 -
Hya Folks
((((Hugs)))) to Mrs M andToni and anyone else who has family who are in hospital..hope they improve soon.
Well done to all the losers...especially Frogga! :T:T:T
I have been lurking for a few days, getting inspiration from all of you...it must have worked, cos.... I have lost 2 pounds this week!!!:j
So even if I feel like carp and disillusioned with life, I will make sure I pop on here at least two or three times a week...I helps to keep me on the straight and narrow!
I have been in two minds about doing the Race for Life at Cheltenham in two weeks time (I enrolled in Feb!)...I feel so rotten and unfit these days, even though I WALK the 5 km (3.1 miles) I am not sure that I would even manage to do that these days. However, coming back to this site, it has given me the determination to do the walk...now all I have to do is get some sponsors..I haven't done anything this year...so bad, so bad am I!
So that's what I am off to do now, get the online site set up and email all my friends and family...then print off a notice to take into work so that staff and students can sponsor me. Now I feel bad at not doing this sooner...what a twit I am! Oh well, better late than never!!
Sorry to ramble on...I just don't seem to get myself motivated very well these days, but I am going to try.
Love to you all...we CAN get to our goals...even if very slowly!
M x
PS oh, oh, my food for today:
B: HM Muesli, soya milk + OJ
L: Soup, HM breadHM Fish & Chips...mmmmmmm
Breaks: fruit + hobnobs..but not too many (1 or 2?)!
