Hi all,Toto-I love the name Scarlet Rose. I wanted Scarlet but hubby not so keen, so we settled on Summer which I love too.Have a great day everyone!!

Matilda is nice too (and could be French Mathilde). There's some lovely ones on that link Jinky put up.

I think it's so hard to name children, we are stuck with it for life.

I like older names like Matilda, or Amelia that sort of thing.

I was going to call my DS2 Isabelle Jane, but I didn't think it suited him!

How about Amelie, or Veronique? Both could be shortened too....if desired.

Or if you want to go musical: Delilah, Ruby, Pearl, Allegra, Gigi, Melody, Angel, Faith.....

Or how about having an unusual spelling? Or picking a name like Victoria that has an English and French version?

My Mum is called Vivienne, which is the french version (and I think looks nicer)

Scarlet Rose is lovely - maybe Scarlet isn't particularly French, but Rose translates so you are half way there.
