I stuck the flapjacks back in the oven and 5 minutes later they have unstuck, but because I'd spread chocolate on the top they were virtually impossible to get off in a decent 'shape'. Flapkack splodge is probably nearer!!

ah well, when I send the email out tomorrow I'll apologise for the 'rustic' appearance and blame it on a chocolate related incident!!!

Hopefully the cake will come out ok and then they are all done.

I've got a takeaway tub of mixed up cut off edges of the brownies, flapjacks and date/banana slices if anyone wants to fight over them!!!

Just hope I have enough to go round.

Evening,

just at home drinking my cuppa before SIL comes round and we go to fat class. I think I've agreed to get weighed rather than just do the exercise but my own wishy washy efforts weren't losing me any weight so I'll try pyaing out for a couple of weeks. I worked out that it will cost me and extra £1.80 a week to get weighed and receive the extra chat so I'd better lose the sodding weight.

Jacs - We had (some electric company) call round and try to persuade Wayne to sign up. it's not verbatim but the general conversation went...

W: Yes
EC: Yes, I'm selling electricity, who's your supplier at the moment?
W: dunno
EC: Oh, it's Npower. Do you know how much you're paying at the moment?
W: No
EC: well, if you're on the standard tariff we can save you £x amount.
W: Oh.
EC: Are you interested?
W: Well, the wife pays all the bills, and she's been looking at uswitch cos the money saving man tells them to, and then she's been looking at quidco and she could get about 50 quid cashback to switch. What cashback can you offer?
EC: Er nothing.
W: Oh, well I doubt she'd sign up on the doorstep. But I'll tell her you called.

Isn't he good? Hasn't he learnt his lesson from 8 years ago, when he was paying TWO companies to supply his gas and was nearly taken to court by a third (who was actually supplying the gas) because he'd sign up to anything! Best thing was we had various bills and was able to say we'll pay X, cos this is what this company are charging.

well, the flapjack splodges are now chocolate flapjack balls!!! I chucked it all in a bowl, mashed it all up and shaped into balls and they are in the fridge!!!
