Quickly posting in my lunch break . . . .
On Day 9 of 20 days working without a day offNearly half way - phew!
Only the bare minimum is getting done, usually only with OHs help.
My list for the week:
Washing one load every night, and in morning if needed - DONE MONDAY & TUESDAY
Folding and putting away said washing . . . UP TO DATE WITH FOLDING BUT NOT PUTTING AWAY
Food on the table - COOKED MEATLOAF LAST NIGHT FOR TONIGHT AND ONE FOR THE FREEZER
Phone power company to put power on Level Pay - DONE
Phone tax dept to confirm online registration - DONE
Spend 15 minutes each night catching up on business 'stuff' - Done Monday
I also need to get my Budget Advisor homework completed by Friday - half done
Keep up with DW
Try and keep sane!
Washing has been difficult because the puppy has had an upset tummy, so have had lots of puppy blankets that need cleaning up and washing - ewwww.
OH and I are having a little test this week . . . we are not asking the kids to do anything - just noting what they do and don't do, so we can show them just how much they don't do!
Guess I'd best grab a drink and get back to work - wonder if there's an energy drink in the fridge . . .

Morning All
I 'm now up as DS woke me up at 1.30 and I've only catnapped since then so I decided I may as well get up! DS is fast asleep again of course!
My wrist is killing me so I've got it strapped up for a bit. Don't know what I've done to it unless it's because I was playing ball games with the kids at school yesterday and it involved a lot of throwing and catching the ball.
Right, I'm going to see if I can do something with this pigsty which is my LR.
Catch you all later

a quick pop-in before the school run.. Love reading all your chats, and I will have to do better to comment on all your troubles and show support. :grouphug: for everyone needing a bit of TLC today, I seriously need to do some flying today but together with going to work, meeting the kids for lunch and fitting in some excercise, having to make some phone calls, I better get going.. I need to be more organised but I have lost my mojo (whatever that is
) can't be ar*sed with any of it.. miss pigpen, please slap me out of this mood with your fluffy mule, better go otherwise the kids will be late for school.. Have a great day everyone.

Morning all :hello:
Well yesterdays experiment went semi-well. I did get some flying done but I was trying to get some smart work clothes from ebay (I'm after some specific things;) ) but the internet just didn't want to play ball. So I started shredding paper - then the shredder jammed. So I gave up and decided to just shuffle papers on the desk and chat to a friend on the one website that did want to work properly :rotfl:
Going to attempt to get my tutorial finished properly today if it doesn't freeze up again. Then start on my essay plan - its YEARS since I wrote a proper essay so I'm not looking forward to it, the hardest bit will be the word out...as you know I can waffle on a bit:rotfl:

taurusgb - thanks for the suggestions, some of them are new to me so I will see what the library can do ( Ihave the Helene Hanfs, and Monica Dickens). I have a duplicate Angela Thirkell that I can post to you if you PM me your address? Follow ons from Anthony Trollope, set in 1920s-1940s. Lots of them in the series, based around the same villages and characters. Calm, enjoyable escapism.
.
Oh Hev how really, really kind of you - and VERY brave....I have so many books because once I own one I can't bear to let it go. I'll PM you my address and if you PM me yours I can send you the postage etc - I'll feel very guilty if you end up out of pocket!

Morning ladies - had a pretty rough evening with Sam so didn't get to post a list yesterday - i am just tidying it up, and having some peaceful breakfast while DS1 is at nursery - only took us an hour and a quarter to get out the door this morning, and that was all up, washed and dressed, DH fed and pack up made, charlie had milk, sam fed, car seat moved to my car again, DH's car unloaded from being off and reloaded with his tool kit and laptop. Not bad - we won't have to do the extra jobs every morning, but my plan is to be up and all dressed every morning before DH leaves - that way i won't get too stressed every day.
Anyway, i have a friend coming at about 10:30 today, so need to crack on a bit as the house seems a bit grim to me. Mucky cats bringing in loads of leaves and twigs in there fur again.
Especially as i don't know how much time DS2 will be good for - don't want another day like yesterday as i am really sore from feeding all day - my back is killing already.
