Yes, but I would keep the Littlewoods account open (for special offers and deals and vouchers in the future) and just lower the credit limit.

I don't think it is clerical as after I requested it the screen said I had the overdraft until 10 January 2010 when it would be reviewed. I did ring and ask if I could have a CG but I was told I was not yet eligible.

What Halifax current account do you have?

well they reckon they judge you on how much credit you have got available and you could go and spend it, if you went on a spending spree.

They also like to see that you are not maxing out all your available credit though - so might be best to keep it.

 Bloody Aqua, got a letter from them today dated 29th December saying sorry acount has been closed as you did not respond to default notice so straight on the phone to them as had made a payment on Thursday and no mention of this when I called, very nice lady tonight said account has been marked for closure and card is blocked and they should re-activate card on Wednsday when payment clears as I have cleared balance, told her I had not received default notice which she said had been sent out in november so now playing waiting game to see what happens at least default was not registered

Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

Dont understand as have always paid on time the only thing I can think of is my payment in November was 2 days late reaching them but surely they cant give a default for payment being late, if this is this casethen its adios Aqua, as woman said to me tonight its not like I have not paid so she says cant be a problem re-activating he card

Thanks for that, I have Ultimate Reward and also asked about CG, I was also told I was not eligible. My overdraft is £300 however pre-approved limit zero.
