I realise this was mentioned a couple of days ago now so the idea may well have been ditched anyway, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to be a party pooper and remind you that for your own safety and privacy we ask site users not to exchange personal details via MSE so the lottery syndicate idea is a no-no.

They've given me an apr of 19.9% - that's not too bad at the moment is it?
And a credit limit of 7.5k
Yikes

Well done!!!:T
Thanks!
My credit rating was rubbish after i left uni in 1999 as I ran up credit card debt using it to pay rent and living expenses. As I did not have the income to pay it off they cancelled the cards. In the end my mum bailed me out, paid them and then I paid her off gradually.
I never really bothered applying for credit after that apart from the occasional bank loan as I knew it would be refused and also I didn't have the spare cash to make payments.
Now I earn good money and have grown up and feel i can be sensible.
Although a little voice sometimes says *ooh, think of what you could buy*...
lol
I will be good though. Used some for Christmas and will book a holiday on one of them for my boyfriend's 40th bday.
That's ok isn't it?!!!
And some day to day spending that I will pay off in full at the end of each month.
Blimmin' hell! Don't these little bits of plastic make you feel guilty?!0 -
