What should be my next step after getting a vanquis visa with regards to improving my credit? i had a capital1 card a fair few years ago which i stupidly messed up due to my tender age, its not on my credit file so must be around 8 years ago by my reckoning. Any chance of them giving me a card in the future? same with barclays, i had a student account which i owed about 2k on, will there be a future for me with them at some point? whats steps can i take in the future to improve my file?

Well have you tried getting a littlewoods catalogue account they report to all three CRAs. Give Capital One ago the worse they can do is say no.

i'll try littlewoods now, have got a studio acct already but just wanna get little nice things on my credit file to make up for my poor past
