  • will vanquis stop my card if i go over the limit?

or will it just allow me to go over the limit?

i want to get something, i can pay for it in fulll, but want that section 75 protection because its over £100
Why dont you pay the money into your card account and then buy the item that way you get your protection without going over the limit.
    Make £11,000 in 2011 / ebay £600

Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

I am mightily annoyed with the Halifax. When I signed into online banking last week I was met with a page which asked me to apply for a credit card because I was "eligible". So I dutifully applied only to receive a letter turning me down. The reason made me laugh - "the level of credit you are currently committed to, in relation to your stated income, is higher than our present lending criteria allows" - which is bizarre given what you can read in my sigature.

So I have written an appeal letter saying I have run my current account very well for the 18 months I have had it and listed my current credit agreements with limits and balances which shows I am not overstretched.
