    how bad would two defaults be dated 2006/2007 ish for £197 and £112?
  • if they are settled I would image it would be looked on ' ok'.

    no there not settled. being paid but not settled. I knew it would be damaging me, but i got 3 catalogue accounts, and t-mobile contract.i can't seem to get a Credit card even vanquis.

    i have 3 defaults 2 settled and i still have fraud from welcome on my file (never use welcome in my life) but i have got from just this thread mbna card a&l current account 2 t mobile contracts (only £15 a month each but we were useing more on pay & go) and next so looking good

    ged i had two searches from welcome on my credit file a while ago, i have had no dealings with them ever!! i contacted the cras and they investigated these and within a week they were off my file altogether, i would give it a try as it wont look good having that on your file, i think welcome are just plain naughty !! i got a more or less instant response from the cras after my query done online and they did all the work for me ;)
