Hi I have just had an alert on my Equifax file, so i've checked it out and it says:
New Credit Agreement
New Information
Company AIBP0019
Then it give alot of x's and four digits.
Any one have any ideas as to who this company is? I do have a search from Barclaycard on the 14/11/08 and I applied for the Argos card yesterday..so could it possibly be one of these?
However this is not showing on my experian file as yet!! Debts: Capitalone £0, Vanquis £220, LX Direct £1197, Mutual £1107, JD Williams £23 :eek:0 -
Well I have just applied for a flex account with the nationwide, and have finally been accepted.
Four months ago they wouldn't even upgrade the accounts I already have (both with the cash cards) yet I have held these accounts for over 3 years.
It will be nice to finally have the proper debit card!
Well done on that.
I also have the cash card and overdraft of 1k joint with partner but do you know what they turned us down for the debit card. Crazy, i dont understand it -my partner has banked with them for over 12 yrs.:mad:If we all took an eye for an eye the world would be blind-(someone said that somewhere) :T

It's silly isn't it?
They have always turned me down for an upgrade, and I was actually going to close the accounts once I'd taken my mums money out of my e-savings.
I have no idea what was different about this time. My credit report isn't any better than it was 4 months ago. Infact I would say it is worse due to the amount of searches on there.0 -

I think youve done well because if i remember rightly from other posts, they are not very free with their debit cards!

lol, maybe they took pity on the fact that I've been unwell for the past few weeks... But I doubt it
Maybe if people apply for the account but say no to an overdraft that might help?0 -

Hi,
How do you get a spam alert on your CRA?? and not only that a new credit agreement has been set up aswell..so for it to be Spam is very doubtful!
I have never heard or been informed of that happening before:eek: Debts: Capitalone £0, Vanquis £220, LX Direct £1197, Mutual £1107, JD Williams £23 :eek:0 -
Me neither, dont you have to have given previous consent for any credit company to search your file?If we all took an eye for an eye the world would be blind-(someone said that somewhere) :T
