Got my flybe card 3k limit band c,does anyone know how long it will be before i get the pin number?My hubby phoned up about his flybe card and was told it will be upto 21 days before he hears anything because there has been a large amount of online applications.

Hi All

I have been accepted for Aqua and I thought it might help people to know my credit status (which according to Experian and their expensive credit score option is 772 - fair).

Three defaults - Dec 03 £1200, March 05 £4k, April 05 £1600. All settled. No CCJs. A number of current credit accounts all up to date and no missed payments for two years, and before that just the odd month. At the time of application I had no searches in the last six months and three in the last twelve months.

The limit I got was £1k and I have had the agreement to sign (very quickly too).

In April I got Capital One with a £1k limit (now £1600, went up on 4th statement) - at the time I had one previous search in the last six months.

Capital One checked Experian and Equifax. Aqua only checked Experian.

Hi Fairmorn - could you tell us a bit more about the circumstances around your Cap 1 default removal? I have tried and failed- my debt was 40% charges which I largely got back. The whole overlimit amount was charges.

well my cap 1 default got referred to a DCA and i put a dispute notice on my credit file and the credit agency contacted them and within 15 days i had it removed. it couldnt of been easier.

Is your one with a DCA now and if so which one?

I applied last Sunday for the 2nd time as the 1st time i did it my pc froze just before i got to the decision bit.
They said they would contact me but have not so far!

I bet theres loads of people reading this thread that dont post, but use the advice on here for applying to cc companies. No wonder Monument closed its doors at one point!!
