I did all my DD myself and just waiting on mortgage company to confirm new DD and thats mine all switched over. All I need now is them to start taking the money which should start 4th November.

Phew, I'm in the clear

Just got off the phone to a lovely lady. She has reversed the two charges and the £5 interest on those 2 charges. She has made sure the 1.9% promo rate is still on, and she manually set up my DD

Plus, she said that no black mark will be made against my report as a payment has to be more than 30 days late before they report it as a late payment.

I am nervous about this switching service. I haven't changed my salary details so that will be paid into my Barclays as usual tomorrow. Fortunately I have a £1.5k o/d with A&L so if any DDs come out of there then they will be covered. So I will just transfer the money from Barclays to A&L. Bit random that I don't know which account the DDs will come out of. I'll just have to keep a close eye this month I think!

Doelani, why didn't you like the switching calls?? What was so bad with them??

I failed my CBT

But on a positive note my salopettes (sp?) arrived in the post yesterday so they'll give me more protection when I go again. These "dungarees" do nothing for ones figure lol

because 9/10 sorry 10/10 it was because a DD had not moved over, salary had not moved, tehy ahd recieved bank charges...............oh it is making me feel sick just remembering :eek:


I am sure switching does work but I just wanted to know myself it was all done lol
