I applied for the Flybe over 2 weeks ago still no "Dear John" or "Okay John" letter. Am thinking they may be waiting to get some sort of resolution to the Banking Crisis as they are a bank.
I have already got a Vanquis so whats next to apply for? Not Capital One or MBNA (unless their records don't go back that far? I have had problems with them over 10 years ago. Have a clean record now although limited credit report situaition.

Afternoon all,

I have just viewed my free Equifax report as I have a Cap 1 card and think I could have come across an aid to my problem...

I have 8 accounts showing on there, 1 is inactive - Studio cards! and apparently I have one default from 2007 - Welcome Finance; however my problem is I pay welcome finance by DD every week but they haven't updated my account since July 07 either. 2 are upto date - Littlewoods and Cap 1 and the rest are settled! I am showing as having 13 searches in the past 6 months and 2 settled CCJ's

So am I in my rights to contact them and ask them to update my Equifax report...and do you think this would help my credit rating??
