Got my Aqua card this morning :T so thats no no more applying for me

Vanquis......£250 limit
JDWilliams catalogue....£125 limit
Ambrose Wilson catalogue...£125 limit

A&L account .declined
Flybe card.....declined
Monument card..declined
Argos.......declined

so thats it, I have spent £60 on vanquis becasue the site would not take electron but rang this morning and paid it :T so I am going to be good now and no more "apply" buttons. Do not need anything just got a little carried away lol

its strange i cant get accepted for a aqua and vanquis card but i have been accepted for a A&L account.

Got my details for my A&L account and also gives you a savings account aswell which is a bonus and also got a £500 overdraft

am happy enough.

yes I know strange the way they work, we have income of over £40k, new mortgage may this year, savings and my own bank will not give me a debit card lol

Hi Guys
Thought I would phone Barclays for an update on my application for their Bank account and Barclaycard Initial, weird thing happened, the lady on phone says"There is a problem with your ID, can you take ID into local branch and they will open it for you" took my ID to branch, and their system would not let application go through, so lady in bank has put in an appeal, so will keep you updated, the only thing I can think of is I am in process of getting late hubbies details taken off my Experian file but funny thing is they have done a search using Equifax. Rather confused now and a little bit worried

im the same got knocked back from all them but got A&L account and mbna card? maybe sub prime is getting harder to get

I've been with Vanquis for nearly 3 years now and never had a problem, though my limited is £500, which I pay off every month!

I have just been accepted by A&L for a new bank account (no overdraft or credit cards) and just waiting to hear back from Flybe and Capital One.
Hopefully I'll get one of them accepted with a decent limit, which I'll pay back when my work bonus comes in at the end of November.
