yea i may leave it a few months 20 searches doesn't look good in 4 week period does it.

am doubtful i will get it cause i got declined the other week for a JJB card who uses sigma bank tho.

but am not sure what CRA they use and i did get a default removed after the application on my Experian file

the guys that are getting the flybe card should try the jjb as they are both sygma they might get the second approval

Really I only wanted my credit card for 2 reasons :-

1. I often travel on business so I can use my card and pay back into when I claim expenses as it can be expensive paying out from my own account regularly.

2. To improve my credit rating, every green zero helps and this is another i can add to the list.

I'd have been happy with a £500 limit if truth be told as I just wanted to get 'on the ladder' so to speak.

Would there be any advantage to me running an additonal card in your opinion?

Hi Guys,

Need some advice please. I am remortgaging in March 2009, so don't want to have too many searches on my file. I have about 8 searches I think at the mo, mostly from May/June time.

I want to apply for the Flybe card that you're all raving about. But I don't want to do it to the detriment of my file. What shall I do?????

They use equifax only to search

Whoo Ulster Bank bumped by limit up to £1500. Now I can transfer a bit more debt to lower the interest I'm charged.
