I have a very good friendship with paki Paul, his wife calls him that as do allot of the local customers, no nasty intent or racist stuff, just a bit banter, that was the only "Asian" photo I had in my collection, please accept my apologies if I have offended.

His wife might call him that, but this is a public forum, why do you have to use that word ?

I'm not trying to be PC, but of all the words you could have used. You could have at least put p**i instead and we would have known what you would have meant.

And that was the only photo you had ? Why did you need a photo anyway just to tell us you were going out to buy some cans of lager ?

I know he isn't, I was meaning the people who run the off licence, who could have been Asian, Pakistani, Arabian or anything, I really don't know.

I just don't see why someone needs to use such photos on somewhere like this.

Look, I have said sorry but I don’t see what the problem is here? You must live a sheltered life but up here in Newcastle we have a large Asian population of which I have a few Indian and Pakistani friends, Paki is a shortened name for Pakistani, no racial abuse at all, don't dress this up and make a mountain out of mole hill please, a spade is a spade...don’t try and pretend that it is a pick or a rake. :rolleyes:
