Apply for one of the cards issued by Sygma Bank (Creation Finance)
They only search equifax.
I have 3 cards by them now (JJB All Saints & Flybe Card) My experian report had defaults when I applied that have since been removed, yet equifax had none.
The Flybe card also offers 0% on balance transfers where as the other two don't.
Hope this helps.
What sort of limits do creation give?0 -

Afternoon All,
I was in Town today, and went into Barclays to pay some money into my current account, and I'm stood there quietly filling out my paying in slip when this young guy who works there comes up to me and starts waffling on about how he could see what they could do with my account. I gave him my card so he could bring up the details on computer, and then he looks at me and says "Oh no, there's nothing we can do".
B****y H, the cheeky little s**t. I didn't ask him to start rooting around my account, and I left there feeling like utter carp. I wouldn't mind, but all of my wages is still in there plus my money transfer from MBNA so there is a fair bit amount of money in there. It must of flashed up "bad credit"!!!!!!
I don't like Barclays any more. I never chose to bank with them, my account got transferred with the Woolwich. Grrrr!!!!!!!!!
Darcy - Good luck with BG. So what do you think they will say when you call them back on Monday??0 -
in hope we trust lol i hope there going to ring back and tell me that they did not follow the correct proceedures with the two defaults and that they will be removed i got the energy ombudsman and energy watch involved they did not seem to like that and seemed to be willing to help me this time i also told them i had been to citizen advice and the defaults were placed illegally and that i had spoke to a solicitor this morning who was will to take my case and try for compensation of the tarnishing my credit file for three years and a further 3 to go
all of this came from mse no solicitor energy watch or ombudsman just research they will get this everyday till there removed lol along with the lettersyou cant change yesterdaybut you can make tomorrow better0 -

Thanks Darcy,
Banks annoy me when they're like that. Grrr. I've been with Barclays for about a year now when they transferred my Woolwich account over. I only have a £100 o/d with them, which I hardly use and my account is in really really good order.
Anyway, when I'm in a position to pick and choose which bank account I want, I'm outta there lol!!
On the plus side, my MBNA transfer came in so I have made a F&F on my DCA debt and it was paid today!!!! So that is my last default now that will be satisfied. Hurahh!!!! I now have no outstanding defaults. I hope the next 6 years go quickly lol!!!
Good luck with BG. You don't set up a credit agreement with them, so I don't see why they should place a default on your file. They don't report to the CRAs when you do pay, so why should they report when you don't. Kick some BG !!! Darcy lol0 -
