they did with me, took it completely away, when i rang they said it was due to some adverse info on my file and they didnt want me as a credit customer!!!

then later it was reinstated!! same thing happened im sure it was to london by next so it does infact happen!!

im probabaly just flamin unlucky though!!

Hey Everyone! :T

I applied on Sunday for both an Aqua and Vanquis credit card. I'm dieing to ring them and ask if my application has been processed and whether I've been declined or not, however it seas on their website to wait 10-14 days. I don't want to sound desperate by ringing them after 2 days. :rotfl:

Hi big Daddy Dave,

No real nasties as such. However this is only year 2 out of a previous 5 year IVA so was not sure if I would be able to get decent credit again so soon but hey looks like it can be done.

Just got 1 late payment on file but the balance on that account is only £1 so maybe they did not consider that to be too much of a problem.

I have Vanquis (£500 limit) and Aqua (1K) limit but both have huge APR rates so I have waited a few months and through suggestion on this board thought I'd give FlyBe a go.

Yes Next did this to me in 2007. They said cos I had some adverse info on (albeit old) anyway it settled back down at the end of 2007 and been fine ever since - credit limit went down twice then up and then down - then back up and settled.:beer:

Brilliant news Jack. They are friendly too! Phoned them up to get their bank details so I can set up payment from my internet bank and it was easily dealt with. PM me if you need the same info. The only change would be inserting your long no' as your reference :beer:

You also got on Band A so you must be doing something right along the way :T
