    ah thanks, it IS underpaid, and also underestimated!! i did work with the elderly for 8 years but after doing all my NVQs (worth nowt them!) i changed jobs, still comes under health & social care though. My youngest has aspergers, so i am kinda used to it, although he no where near as bad as ones I support thank god. I DO love the job but its scary sometimes too, im 5ft 4 and 9 stone and i get chased by a 5ft 10, 17st lady most nights all for the handsomely hourly rate of blah plus min!! Looking to start nursing course 2009, thought i would be over hill at 40 but i could still have 25 yr career in it so i might just go for it. ps. whrs me prize??

    i do "bump" the thread to first page (where it should be) when i notice it slipping. I notice it is always in first 3 lately. very popular thread, theres a wonder that more trolls havent found it to spoil
