If you don't mind me asking, what do you do for a living?

    Well done Laura. :T

Thanks Mr P - and everyone else, can't work out the multiquote still lol.

Activating my card was a little long winded - tried selling me every sort of protection they could

I won't be *too* bad - it's coming on holiday with me as a back up :D

I'm so chuffed, my purse looks all grown up now. In the past three months I've passed my driving test (so finally got a pink licence....provisional wasn't far off expiring!), and got two credit cards! Makes a change from the green licence and Lloyds cash card of a couple of years ago. After a rocky start to my credit lifetime, things are finally going my way - and I've learnt a valuable lesson early on, so won't be repeating that again!

I put a rather large (for me) purchase on my new card. It is a necessary item however, and it will be paid off in two months:D I could pay it off in one, but I'm going to make those lovely people realise they like my business:)

    Everybody doing fine today?
    Fat, female and fabulous

Im a support worker. work with adults with learning disabilities who have come out of institutions to live in shared houses in community. I am currently a "wakeful" for two ladies with autism. one self harms terribly so we need to keep constantly, plus she can be very violent to others. very sweet also.

Ah, my girlfriend is also a support worker, she works with similar adults but some of her clients have been victims of accidents, drinks being spiked with drugs and people who were born with brain defects/injuries, she is underpaid for what she does, as you may also be too, but I take my hat off to anybody doing that kind of work it takes a special person indeed.
