Super challenge but I think that you should have to try and get 1 months grocery spend in one weeks R&Rs. :D
At least as a warm-up !! :rotfl: :money:
Drat and Double Drat, curse that Mr T excuse for not giving me a refund.

I'm finding it easier to spot the errors. They seem to be making more than ever! I enjoy finding them. If it were a little corner shop I wouldn't do it but as it's Tesco's I feel I need to help them out! Help them out with all their stuff that is. I'm already ahead with "the aim" this week. Currently running at around £160 refunded and that's only since Tuesday evening!
My family, Mum, Brothers and Inlaws are all getting free stuff and I swap items with my neighbour who "hits" another store close to his workplace.

OK, so who was it tonight in Southampton Tesco giving CS hell over cheese from the deli with a copy the misprices in their hand.

I was behind you in the que for a refund.

I was standing next to the parmisan when CS inendated the area checking prices but luck for me did not remove the price then when I got to CS I found out why.

  • Hi. I want to cash in on the CD bargains, but don't want to buy things at full price. How do you KNOW when they'll go through the till at a higher price? Sorry to be thick, but I've not tried before, and want to stock up for Xmas pressies. Got a luverly piece of pork for Sunday though. And Monday. Not to mention pork casserole on Tuesday and Wednesday! <g>

Instore you will see blue posters at eye level displaying chart numbers title and price, compare this price with the sel if the sel is higher the chances are you have found a misprice, also keep an eye out for individual stickered cd's and dvd's and compare sticker price with sel, same rule applies, keep an eye out for instore promotional material, big signs, pos, etc and compare with sel.

Don't forget to come back and post on the misprice thread, this will also encourage others to do the same and provide new deals for all.
If you are in doubt simply take to the till keep an eye on the checkout display if it doesn't go through at the higher price simply change your mind and have them scan it off again.

Also use the price check machines in some stores - blue machine dotted around some stores.

Although the security case does not allow scanning of all CD's

  • Does this policy apply to online orders? I've just had £102 worth of wine delivered but they didn't take off the 15% ecoupon. Rang them up and they acknowledged this but would only offer to refund the 15% not the full amount saying that the policy does not apply to online orders.

Has anyone had any success in this area? or is that the best I can get?

The policy doesn't apply to online orders so they have done all that is required in this instance.

God knows that amount of people who have been overcharge via online orders, online is price store should be charging according to central database, but as we all know most stock in meat and dairy aisles are not remarked according to official price (shown on SELs (sometimes) and on the online store (as this will feed directly from the central price database, which they must have for inventory valuation, and for price 'control' I use that word in its absolute loosest possible way.

Well they've certainly tightened up in the Glasgow store I go to.

The CD posters had been tippexed so none of the prices were showing. The shelf labels for items such as the Saturday Night Fever CD had been removed.
