Don't think I have used Tesco online since they were donating gamecubes, they don't take coupons online so they've got no chance of my busines there, I'll stick to the stores it's healthier on my budget!

I have only once been to CS because I had been overcharged and they insisited on keeping my till receipt for all my shopping, I said I like to keep them to check off on my statement when it arrives, but they said they had to keep it.... is this usual practise? Twix

This is absolute PANTS the till receipt is YOUR record of the transaction and they are legally obliged to supply you with one, they may wish to make a photocopy perhaps or better still get off their fat backsides and waddle down to the checkout and print a copy from there if they are important (they are regarded as symbols of authority by many) enough to have an override key, most checkout runners have this authority and certainly any supervisor would, the plain and simple reason they wished to keep your receipt is for intimidation purposes only! to make you feel as if you have done something wrong or untoward and perhaps make you think twice before availing yourself of r&r again.

Why don't you go back and ask them for it, when they tell you they haven't got it can't find it etc point out to them that they stated they needed it for their records, if they say it's at HO blah de blah just tell them no problem you can request it and ask them how long it will take them to recover it for you don't give them the option of will or wont just when.

You could always add you need it to see how many other items they overcharged you for!!!

They messed up on the price with the gamecube bundles along with Amazon and Woolworths, I've still got one of them here but that will be going over Christmas.

Time to take pictures of the SEL with your mobile phone?

Does anyone know of a cheap deal on a photo phone ? Hate mobiles usually but I can see that in the Tesco's scenario they are extremely useful and discreet. Just a basic pay as you go one would be fine, that takes pictures, especially of SELs and posters. Although I don't think that this is in the detailed specification.

I can see it now, one in ASDA's with the details as

'mobile phone ........ espcially good at taking pictures of incorrect SEL and Posters in Tesco's .......... please note only 500 pictures can be stored in memory at any given visit' :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I take it you didn't go for the 02 mobile from Wednesday then?;)

By the way the Gamecube was on here nearly a year ago now so you would have missed that:)

NO IT'S NOT They could have just printed a copy for themselves at CS with the code at the bottom. If you paid by card and have extra bit of your receipt the one with card details when you are next in Mr T,s just go and ask for a copy to be printed off [see my previous post].

    HeHe
I've danced with five managers this week and stepped on all their toes whilst I was at it, Mr T's bling is really slipping these days he can't afford to pay for managers who can't hack it without the tattood fatty in tow!
