Well done for giving it all away to the homeless, i have got to say that i would of done the same with all that food. My big, big holiday is starting this boxing day but i had to pay for it :( . I hope you have a great time on holiday as you deserve it!! Where are you going?
It was a nice bonus but I won't claim it was the primary motive. Bylromarha inspired me [not long now btw - have a great time], and advised how to start trying to give the stuff away :)

Thanks. I'm not sure yet...but I really want to go to Australia (a friend is out there now and making me v. jealous).
  • Sorry for going off topic - but can someone tell me what the phone number for the feedback panel is on - as the Gainsborough store as got one of these soon and I wish to be there :D

Australia is one of my stops. If you could let me know of any must dos that your friend recommends i would be grateful. Why not Australia you can add on a couple more places and make it an even bigger dream holiday.

I bought 1,100 packs of beef in gravy for the points from the big Extra store by IBM. The customer service there are nice - with the exception of the CS manager - had a few run ins with her (which thankfully were resolved by HO :) ). Have seen cheese mispriced.

The small one in Pompey centre - have had a misprice on cheese there. If you have any problems speak to the store manager - Steve I think...his picture is near CS - he's a top bloke, very personable. He told me I could use as many coupons as I liked so long as they were valid, one of each type and they stocked the stuff. Don't be palmed off with an "acting" manager woman (another mini-dictator).

If you are after self-scan tills use Havant or Fareham.
I ordered 72 paks of beef in gravy from the redcar store for the recent point bonus, the cs girl took payment and never swiped card,i asked why and she said that she would add points manually(weird)anyway she instantly added my 3400+ points and gave me receipt, last week when checking my points balance i noticed my points were down,so i called c services in scotland who looked into this and said that the points i was awarded from redcar were taken off my account due to they could not find a transaction and stores were not allowed to add this many points onto a card,i explained what strange way the cs girl never swiped my card at point of purchase but added manually instantly, the office cs explained i would have to send my receipts off to waltham cross and would not guarantee i would get my points added back,i phoned head office who in turn contacted scotland office,i then got call that they would credit my points back and redcar tesco would be given more info about these situations, also i was told that you are only allowed special store orders of 10 items?i was made to feel ashamed as i ordered 72 beef in bags, god help me if id ordered 1100,like member above.

    Hello Rose999, hello Addy -
Yes, apologies for that omission, but I've never had a problem and wouldn't notice which I'd had from where anyway.

Hi - When I bought mine the cashier accidentally rang up 114 instead of 1104 and I didn't notice. She had to do another transaction for the rest.....and I forgot to giver her my clubcard again !!! I had to go to customer services who put on over 50,000 ! points. I also had my points taken away by Scotland.....and had a fit. I called them up and they said the store made an error in the manual allocation of points. I of course put them straight....and they were quite shocked... but got the points back no problem.

HO, or Scotland have also told you a load of bull about 10 items.... so long as they are amenable you can have whatever you like........sounds like they are getting confused with the sometimes applied, and oft varying "bulk buy policy".

Clubcard have a whole department that looks at high balance accounts and odd transactions such as these I believe.
