For the *** points use self scaner works a treat.

Ours always seems to throw them out. When using your temp card, then when you find your card it accepts them. No cashiers questioning you i also use self scanner for money of coupons. Cause once you have scanned a £3 voucher of a £6 shop and dropped it into the slot, it comes up assistance needed. But how are they going to give you your £3 money of coupon back. The cashier always ok's it.

I went and asked for a temporary card.... assistant said why did I want one, I said cus my card was at home... she just said have points put on when you next shop... what reason do you give for wanting a temporary card?

Not having a normal one yet.

You can usually find the leaflets in the store not just at CS.

Never ask for one they are located at customer services and also and self scanners. Just pick one up and use it.

Welsh Dragon it was me on the other thread. Yes I've been adding 150 clubcard points twice weekly and never been questioned. Today I bought my Saturday Times for £1.10 and gave the assistant the 150 extra clubcard voucher. No hassels at all. Nice to get 40p back for removing a free paper!!

Philips Cd Radio Cassette , it had 2 SEL labels, one for £24.96 other big one was £19.96, scanned £24.96 (ish) she forgot to give me receipt back (which i'll need back for guarantee)

6 x 12 pack Tesco dog food, still scanning at £3.72

4 x Birds eye Chicken tikka that had been put in wrong place (BOGOF) but isn't on that deal!

Each time you use a temporary card you get a 150 point voucher you can apply to your normal card on the next shop.

I normally use a temporary card every other shop. but useing two at once is not on.

Hi Chris

tried to self scan 3 cadburys 50p vouchers, came up assistance needed on third one, assistance came, and proceeded to open the slot and cancel my last voucher. This was at wigan acouple of weeks ago. So doesn't always work, worth a try tho'.

I like the sound of this, it sounds like a great way to pick up some extra points.
