Pipeline Card - I Got Spammed

I've had email after email asking me to click a link to UW which, if I wanted to do, would have done!
I emailed Ben Scammell to say that I was unhappy with being bombarded with these emails and that what was once a credible idea (pipeline card) now seems to be a vehicle for making money from subscribers to the original idea.
What a charmer he is. A string of abusive emails later, despite me telling him to stop embarrassing himself, he continues. I've consigned him to junk mail and hope he sinks into cyber oblivion.0 -
I did de-register some time ago and yet again I got a newsletter from them yesterday0

This one's resurfaced ... again[tautology permitted].
Just found in high barrier personal email - 'Pipeline Card...IMPORTANT NEWS FLASH..Your account, action required'...blah blah.
Spammed/Binned before reading/opening.
Just Googled it and am not distraught over having done so.

Today I received an e-mail from Pipeline. :rolleyes:Firstly, sorry it's been a while since I've been in contact, and I know PipelineCard has been going since 2005 without getting everyone a deal, but we we are still trying hard and we'll win in the end - so don't give up on us!
Now, we know that some of you love the other discounts PipelineCard has organised for you, but others are not so keen.
So, PipelineCard is splitting in half. This allows us to make PipelineCard more attractive to the fuel partner we're talking to and ensures only the members who want other discounts get offered them. Everyone's a winner so to speak!- PipelineCard will continue to work towards a deal on petrol and diesel, and;
- The new website DeliveringDiscount.co.uk will continue to try to save you money on everything except fuel - and, what's more, you can tell us exactly what you want discounts on with the "suggest a discount" feature.
It's completely free, you'll only get one, perhaps two, emails per month and just like PipelineCard - we'll never disclose your information to anyone, ever!
Now, to help get this all going, some of our existing partners have given us some stuff to give away. So far there is free gas and electricity for a year from The Utility Warehouse, some cases of wine from Virgin and some Sat-navs from Mio... and we're working on some other bits and pieces too.
Now there are three choices:
1.click here to activate your DeliveringDiscount.co.uk account and be entered for the prize giveaway!
2. click here if you don't want to be part of DeliveringDiscount.co.uk, and we won't contact you again about it.
3. Do nothing, and you'll automatically be made a member, but won't be entered for the prize giveaway.
Thanks for your patience with everything, and don't forget it never has and never will cost you to be a member - so hopefully you're getting something for nothing!
Thanks,
Ben Scammell - Pipeline Card Founder0 -

Following on from my post at the top.... they have no unsubscribe on their email, their "member login" is disabled on the site, I have emailed the unsubscribe email a few times AND used the unsubscribe form on their website a few times. I STILL get emails!!
Therefore to me they are now officially just spammers and serve no other purpose.
I suggest everyone who gets spammed from pipeline card or deliveringdiscount.co.uk, to report the email as spam as follows...
Just to go to spamcop.net, click "Report Spam", register at the bottom and login. On the Report Spam page, paste the entire email "headers" into the box and thats it.
Maybe with more and more people doing it they can get blacklisted. I also use Google Mail which has a "Report Spam" button which I used but I dont know what that does.0 -
I got the spam email as shown above yesterday. I have told this guy before now to stop spamming me he doenst give up. The pipeline card was nothing short of a scam to get our details and spam us with offers
