    Hi everyone,
i must admit to struggling to keep up the last couple of days as i`ve been sooo busy, i`ve read each days thread very quickly so i hope i`ve not missed too much.
The hours where i w**k have increased to 9 hours on the days i w**k and including the travelling time thats a lot of time out of a day to spend here so i`m struggling to keep up with the 3 threads i subscribe to and the housew**k, shopping, cooking, cleaning etc:mad: there dosen`t seem to be time to sleep.

W**k is really busy too so i`ve not been on as often as i`d like.

I`m at w**k now and hope to be home around tea time so we will be having a beef stirfry later on then taking the houndlets for a big walk, hope the weather stays dry for later.

Pippad - congrats on the birth of your son
PenPin - hope you are ok, you will be home before you know it ((((HUGS))))

    Catch up later guys

Just having a quick break while OH makes an early lunch.

VickyA - by the time you read this - hope the race went well.

Catowen - the wii fit is definately worth saving for, was slightly upsetting when my mii went rather wide and DD's shot up like a bean pole - looks like little and large now.

So far today have cleaned, cooker hob and extractor - didnt give the oven a good going over - was just a quick wipe. Have sorted out my wardrobe and now have loads of space. Going to have a sandwich then will be attacking the kids playroom. Have loads of stuff for a boot sale and some for ebay. Once that is finished that will be it for today. Dont think will make the food show but at least I will save my pennies. Will probably try and take the dog for a walk down the beach.

Math - lovely to see you back - thought you would be down the coast?

Benthosboy - cant believe you are the same person posting glad everything is going well.

Pippad - hope you are putting your feet up and enjoying the lil un.

    Morning (just)

Well, yesterday's plans fell by the wayside, so I'll have to try and catch up today.
We went out for dinner with friends last night and the food was fantastic...the company was great too. No hangover for me as I was driving. :A
No idea what we will have for tea today, Mr Twit is working later on today, leaving about 3pm I think, so no doubt it will be something easy and I will pack up some sandwiches for him.
Miss Twit is on with her homework, Biology and English, she thinks her short course PE GCSE went ok on Friday, just the waiting now for the result. As part of my bribery scheme for next year when she takes the rest of the GCSEs, I've told her to come up with a monetary sliding reward scale, as yet, she has not commited herself.;)

    Good luck VickyA.

Hugs to those in need :grouphug:

    Afternoon everyone,
Its not too bad here weatherwise, sunny and windy.
I went up to Asda this morning as usual and they were having a brain storm as there were the big bags of nanas for 20p and punnets of cherry tomatoes were 20p as well. I grabbed 5 of each and the dehydrator is busy at the mo on the nanas.
A couple of weeks ago the customer services lady was doing her usual ignoring the overcharge policy thing in Asda and instead of pointing it out to her, I wrote to Asda by email and complained. Well I got a £2 card in the post with a very curt letter ,it pretty much said, 'here is your £2 gift card as discussed'. Seems like they didn't like it being pointed out to them anymore than she does .
I think they must train the customer service staff to say nothing about the policy unless it is pointed out to them by the 'cheeky customer' and then pretend that 'ofcourse' they were about to go and get it for them. Actually I did point that out in my email to them too:P
This week is DD's 18th birthday!
I do feel old, especially when I see mums with much younger children who don't seem all that much younger than I am myself .
I remember thinking my parents were ever so old compared to other childrens parents but it is much more common these days to see parents in late teens right through to late 40's with little ones.
Well I am out to plant my bean plants and cucumber in the veg patch as it isn't pouring today.
    bye for now

Have just had lunch, roast gammon, Jersey potatoes, mange toute, asparagus and cheese sauce.

A freshly baked sandwich two pound loaf is now in the breadbin and about to go to Sainsbury befor they close to look for bargains.

Dishes are in the dishwasher and I have cleaned the pots and the hob.

Might make onion bhaji for tea if I feel enthusiastic and serve them with salad.

Watched the new St. Trinians film with DD and enjoyed it.

DDs have been getting me to do brain training - not doing too well at it but I think that is more because I am getting to grips with the hardware - at least I hope so.

Hugs to PennyP,Mrs Mix , smokey and anyone else who needs a hug.

    Martyn

You sound like a different person!!! Lovely to hear you enthusiastic and happy.

    Hi everyone,
Haven't posted for a while. The good news from here is that DS2 has gone to a bike race the first one since his marriage fell apart and he has text me to say that he is having fun. He is still hurting but as they say time is a great healer and he is realising that he has to get on with life and that she is not coming back. Their house goes on the market soon and he then will be moving back home. which is both a big step for him and for us as he hasn't lived at home for four years.

DD1 and family have a Wii which is good fun but when it came to the fitness age for me it gave me a age of 72 and I am only 52! Cheek.
My body mass index was better then everybody elses so I surpose that is something.
OH is in the garden trying to protect vegies and plants from the squirels not sure if he is fighting a losing battle. Hugs to Penpin and Benthosboy you sound so happy I am so pleased for you when did this all happen?
Hope everyone is having a good day and hugs to those who arnt,

    Afternoon all.

Hope you are all ok. Its clouding over here at the moment, but I don't have any outdoors jobs to do, so all is well.

A good friend has just been to see me, and he's having a hard time of it at the moment. So, need to go and start baking shortly. He has a penchent for Barm Bracks, so I think they might be on the list.

    Pippa - Congrats.
Martyn - glad you're having fun.
Catowen - hope the kids enjoy being with you.
PenPin - know you won't be reading this, but thoughts are with you. Also with Smokey and Mrs Mix.

    Hugs to all and sundry,

    Metherer
