Back off holiday, and back to normal (or at least what passes for normal in this house)

If it's the same as in your caravan, it won't involve making bacon butties for good-looking Wardens, that's for certain. :o  :D :rotfl:

looks like its going to be a nice day so hopefully will get some washing and gardening done. yesterday it rained nearly all day so only managed to wash small stuff which would go through the TD quickly. Had lovely steaks last night as a treat. today...back to OS. not that DS will be eating today. he was at a party last night and has just had a lesson in life. his first hangover! just heard him being sick again. secretly quite pleased if you know what I mean because hopefully now he has learnt some limits...

    Morning everyone,

I'm another one who wanted to have a lie-in this morning but here I am. A beautiful sunny morning here so I have DD's bed set in the WM and will hang it out when it's done. Will try and get DS's and my own done today too.

Yesterday was quite a lazy day for me but I hope to make up for it today. Didn't tackle the kitchen worktops yesterday but will do that today. I need to get myself organised in the kitchen - I don't want to cook or bake when the worktops are cluttered and that won't do. I went to mass last night so I don't have to rush around this morning getting ready for that.

catznine hope it warms up for the barbecue - and stays dry of course!
catowen hope the weigh in is a good one. ;)
smoky, pen-pin, mrs mix, candygirl you and yours are in my thoughts.
(((hugs)))) to anyone I haven't mentioned who is in need.

Just read on the BBC website that the affluent are being hit by the credit crunch and referrals to Debt Advice Centres are up 100% in some areas. Interesting article. All the more to join us I suppose and as they say, the more the merrier.

BTW aussie my stomach has been playing up since your "wind" comment. I blame you entirely. :p:D

Off to have a cuppa. Have a sunny Sunday. xx

So if we get out for a walk it will be something!:D Ive got National Trust membership this year, so will see if there's anything fairly near to visit.

catowen - good luck at your weigh-in!

    Morning :D

Catowen :hello: The piggies are great, I could watch them for hours, they're so entertaining :D With five of them in one cage, they need cleaning out every day. I don't mean change the sawdust and bedding daily (I do that with all the pets - cept the rabbit, she's very clean and tidy and uses one corner for her toilet), I mean full-on scrub and rinse  The mini baby hasn't got used to the food yet. He (?) picks a piece up, lifts his head, bites down and it pops out of his mouth :rotfl: They all love cabbage and hay, and have just started to use the water bottle. They couldn't reach it so I put a small rock under the bottle and they climb up on that to have a drink :D

Thanks for all the hugs yesterday, I told miss tru and she was chuffed to bits :D

Morning all, I had a wonderfull day yesterday with my Mum, lots of laughing and remonising, and heart to heart chats. She is so worried about my impending opps, but told her it's not life threatening, I'll be fine and there are lots of others in more dire straights than me. Now pull your self to pieces Woman. ;) Told her how MUCH I love her and lots of other heart felt things, things you wish you had said to someone before it's to late. Played lots of music accompinied by the same amount of wine before mounting the stairs to bed at silly o'clock.

    Morning all :hello:

Thanks Shez for the luck for the Race for Life. My friend that I was supposed to be doing it with has pulled out, so I'll be doing it all by myself. :( Well, me and 2000 other people. :D DH offered to come with me, but I pointed out that he probably wouldn't be allowed anywhere.

Anyway, we're having some friends round for a bbq this afternoon and DH is sorting out the house. :D

    Have a good day all.

Martyn - does this mean that we'll all need to buy hats in the near future? So good to hear that you're so happy.

Hugs to all who need one, especially SMOKEY, PENPIN, MRS MIX< CANDYGIRL and anyone else I've missed.

PIPPAD hope all is going well with your DS and you're managing to get some sleep.

It's sunny, windy and cold here. Had a terrible nights sleep. Don't know why I bother sometimes. Can't even blame OH, He was on nights.

Will hang the washing out in a minute. Dinner is roast beef, yorkshires, veg. Shall take DS swimming later. It's also the usual cleaning, homework and ironing  oops I swore.

    Have a good day all.
