Cat, this is the 'sticky' thread, always at the top of the DFW Board, which gives links to all the challenges, including the Grocery Challenge. :)

Well done :) We make ours up the night before and pop them in the fridge. Children prefer it too as the lunch stays cooler for longer.

good luck with it all and...ahem.....what about the Sky? ;)

You can make sandwiches in one go for the week and freeze them, taking out what you need on a daily basis, the other thing, how about doing some rice dishes for school luches, cheap and cheerful, stops the children getting bored with sandwiches, and best part the children can help make what they want.

I am going to look into that - at the moment we pay Tiscali for broadband, so will find out what Sky offer and change our package if poss -
just working out with my children pocket money - they don't get it at the moment - we just give them money (not excessive amounts) - then once their money has gone, it's gone - going to get them into the saving mode!!
